  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I started to be interested by computers since my father bring me back an
expensive C64 (1000eur) at home. Probably in 1985.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • *C64 : playin' - music - coding (simon's basic) 85-93
    *80-88 : nothing interesting 91
    *386 hercules -> vga & sblaster : playin' - tracking -
game design - game maker, gfx (humm) 92-96
    *pentium 120 : tracking - game maker 96-97
    *cyrix 166 : tracking - playin' 97-2000
    *p2 400 : tracking - web design&develop - gfx 2000-now

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I choosed music 'cause i've just begun to code only
    this year in fact.
About GFX, i've an incredible brother
who code & graph like a master and... i love making
    music!

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Music Processor (C64), Cubase light, fast tracker, scream tracker 3 and Impulse
Tracker 2. Now i work with Impulse tracker 2 and remaster the work with
    Modplug Tracker VST and Rebirth.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Firstly with the track called "Funky Pan Flute" finished in october 95. The
40th mod i composed. I though this track had an expessionnal melody!!!.
Now after more than 5 years and 1000 tracks i could tell that the track i'm
the most proud of is "Disco Racerz". When i listen to it, i'm not sure that
it's a personnal track and that's the goal i would like to reach!

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yep! i'm not sure for the name but something like Badman 2 cause it's just
lamming... convert a 8tracks to 4tracks and change some samples and beat!!!
That was in summer 95 (perhaps my 15th module).

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Lot's of demo are really beautifull but sometimes music are really bad or not
appropriate. Music must be spirit of the demo. That's why i work now on a concept
for my for coming album where I compose music based on GFX realised by my brother.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • SURE, only for leisure cause i've found nothing else. Working for a productive
demo team would be a great first step, but i hope working for a multimedia or
game developing team in the future

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I hate midi in fact. MP3 Could be intersting but i really prefer soundtrack.
It's a small world of musician and style of music that i love.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Giana Sister machinae, ... but here is my TOP 10 :
    Quasian - Second Time
    Dizzy - Just for blues
    Skaven - Catch that goblin
    FBY - Morning
    Jogeir Liljedahl - Celtic Waves
Skorpik & Wrocklav - Forest of dreams
    Wave - Nine one one
    Dizzy - Banana Split
    Skorpik - Forgotten city
    Falcon - Aural Sunflower

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • On each of my albums i finish a new album (15 allready) you can find remastered
old tracks (the latest one is Divagation (97->2002)) on it

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Elwood, General Dream, Jogeir Liljedahl... In fact i let
my brother check the best of the demoscene for me!!!
(not enough time to do it myself)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The chiptune style and the spirit of scene.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Last time was INSCENE'2K. Sometime i work for BUG FACTORY but i hope a
productive Demo Team call me for works.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • A lot of:
Pierrick Hansen (DJ 3.14) & Romual Dispa (Valyum) who learn me how to track.
Vivien who let me track with his computer at the begining
My Brother Pype : my best fan.
Tbob, JonhyWalker, Parmy :the other member of Creadream.
Benoit Charcosset (MAF) & General Dream : my favorite trackers

Then finally i would like to to greet all scenerz of the world caus without
them, scene will be not so good
