  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • C64, the machine rocked.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64, Games, Programming
    Atari ST, Demo Programming
    Atari Falcon, Demo Programming

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well I did all of it, Coding, Music and some gfx. I'm just best at music
    though.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Fasttracker and a host of others (Chip editors). Honestly, I've forgotten
    their names.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Not one, ever. As a musician, you can never reach your goal.
    The trip is the destination.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Oh, several. Reason: They were crap ;)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Very big, largely underestimated. It's very important for the atmosphere.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, from time to time for professional games. Occasional professional remixes.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Nothing in particular. They are just means for an end.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • That'd be long. Old school would be Turrican, Giana Sisters, and some demo
    tracks.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • At some point maybe

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Crystal Method, Way out West, Leftfield, BT

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • not much (anymore :) ). I'm completely out of it.
I'm fascinated though that people still spend so much time with these old
    machines

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, I'm in the games industry now.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Oh greats go out to all friends of Lazer on the Atari!!
