  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • been in 87 as far as i can remember, me and my cousins cpc464 collided...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • the first one was a cpc464 with green monitor and all that, first i used
it for gaming, then started programming (some shit from me can be found
in ol´cpc international mags...hehe). started swapping in 88, first games
only, later on i discovered demos and such and that´s what i really was
into from that time on. got the amiga 500 in 91 i think, started swapping
on it (sonic flash or [sonikk!] been my nick that time), discovered
soundtracker and went for it. in ninetyhitme i bought the a1200 then, used
it for everything from makin´music, askiiz to runnin´a bbs on it (kwik
e mart (tm)), till the hd crashed unrepairable... now i am on pc, like
    most ppl in between.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • i liked my gfx, i was the only one =)
coding was way too much math for me...
and makin´music is just fun from the start.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • soundtracker, hearttracker... a lotta trackers, pt of course.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • hardkekz blues, even tho nobody seems to hear how great it is, but me. haha

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • forgot about most of them anyway

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • in demos it has a quite great value, would say 40% music, 30% code,
30% gfx/style... that´s how i see it. in games it ain´t important at all,
the sound fx have to be proper, that´s it (not in um jammer lammy,
space channel 5 and such, of course =))

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • nope, no time and a smashed amiga hd

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • it´s a great deal, ya don´t have to pay for cd´s at all anymore =)
when it comes to makin´music on computers - it brings it all on a whole
new level, a far higher level.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • i would, if i could remember the names... but certain pieces of
    audiomonster,moby, groo...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • nope

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • german hip hop mainly

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • lack of time and fun

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • yup, always again

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • word
