  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Hmm, sometime back in the early days of the c64 i think ..
    1985/86 if i remember correct . .

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • CBM64 : Listening to music, programming and playing games
Amiga 500 : Composing music, schoolwork, playing games etc.
Amiga 1200 : Composing music, sceneactivity, internet and so on..
Pentium150 : Composing music, playing games, internet and so on..

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • It felt natrual for me, as i've been encouraged to do music from the very
beginning of childhood, and people tells me that i'm gifted and tallented,
so .. there's really not more to say about it ..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker v3.15 is without doubt the most used tracking-program..
i've been using all kinds of protracker-related programs all the way from
the very beginning (soundtracker v1.0 and noisetracker) Nowadays i still
use Protracker aswell as THX on the Amiga, and Fasttracker on the pc . .

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • My aim is not to compose to reach any goal .. then i had not started doing
computermusic at all :) .. well, i compose only because i want to, and
it's a great way to express oneself aswell as get out feelings and
emotions .. i don't always like doing music that's already been decided
for . .i like to do things my way .. i feel happy and confident when people
tells me that they like my music .. it's a very motivating factor that
    keeps the spirit up ..

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Not really.. I like to look back and remember on all tunes i've done ..
behind every tune there is a story, and a lot of happenings .. if there
are any songs that i'd like to forget is tunes i've done while being
depressed and sad .. such tunes brings back all the grief and pain,
and you feel like going over it all again.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music is the spirit in every pruduction, game or demo ..
it's the music that gives you the mood .. (try turning off the volume in
a scary movie .. all the excitement is blown away in a split second .. )

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm still composing .. more than ever actually.. But it's only for myself
and for scene-purposes .. but it would be great to someday earn money as
a professional musician .. having my own studio and all that stuff ..
making a living out of music .. that is one of my dreams ..

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think it's great .. i can't say that i miss anything .. the quality as
far as i'm concerned, is good enough, and mp3's gives the possibillity
of spreading large midi- and synthpieces thru the internet very easily..

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • That would be extremely difficult to say .. i have no favourite tune that
i could think of, but alot of dizzy's work are brilliant .. heatbeat and
groo are also two musicians i favour ..

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I have been thinking of it yes, but mainly just for my own purpose ..
although, sometime in the future it could be possible that i will launch
a cd for sale .. time will show ..

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • hmm, alot of bands actually .. but if i'll have to name some ..
it must be .. jamiroquai, mezzoforte, jarre, genesis, ozric tentacles,
eat static as well as some classic music .. (bach/beethoven/mozart and so on)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Alot of wasted time? .. nah :) .. i'd loved my stay in the scene, althoug
it wrecked some of my social life when i was younger .. nowadays i manage
to set limits .. that was an unknown aspect to me in my early teens ..

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • more or less i would say .. i'm not as active as before, but i still
consider myself an active part of the scene ... i still have plans
    for productions to come etc..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • well :) that would be WAAAAY to many people to greet . .
but .. to my family, and all my friends in the scene
(you know who you are .. )
