  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It must have been in 1993 when I got my first PC. Back then i was
exclusively into playing games, until I watched FC's second reality.
On from that day I adapted to scream tracker 3 and my career as a
    musician began.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Next question please.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I did a little bit of coding in power basic, but I soon realized that
this is not really what I was born into this world for. As for gfx,
I never got introduced so properly nor fell in love with any gfx tools
so instantly as with scream tracker 3.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Oh. I've tried almost every single tracker ever released, but the only ones
I have been seriously sticking to were ST3 and FT2. Nowadays I still use FT2
even if it's lacking alot of features compared to topical software. But
whenever I click that ft2.exe i feel home instantly. *g*

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm. Alot of people liked "Squeak". Personally I think I've reached my
goal within alot of half-finished .xms still lying on my HDD and eagerly
waiting to be finally finished off.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Nah not really. But i definitely remeber some tunes of mine which others
    would be ashamed of. hehe

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Yeah music is essential. If there's no music, people start
to chat and don't pay attention on the visuals. I think music is
very important to keep people quiet and attentive.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am tracking for leisure purposes only. I don't plan to sell my music anytime,
simply because I don't buy others music myself.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Next question please.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Keith303 is my all time favourite. I've learned so much from him, actually
everything about proper tracking. His music accompanied me from day one until
today. One could say that without his influence, I wouldn't track nor be so
interested in music anymore today. I love his .XMs more than any other
(commercial) music. He's a born musician/magician to me.

Another favourite of mine is Falcon.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Yes but only for demonstrating purpose.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I listen to everything that's good according to my own taste.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Nothing. In my beginning there was nothing but the PC. =)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes sure. Check out http://www.kahvi.org ! That's were I release my songs
nowadays. Besides, Spark/Haujobb is working on a demo using my music.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Next questi.. oh we're already done. Thanks alot for the interview!
