  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • (First, please apologize my bad english !)
When i was 12 years old, i had my first computer (a CPC Amstrad) for
    Christmas.
It was the best gift I ever had: It really changed my life !

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Amstrad CPC, and so Amiga.
    CPC was a dream !
    Nostalgia...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Music always been in the deep of myself.

Teenager, during the summer nights, lengthened on a long chair, eyes in the
starry sky, i was listening to Jean-Michel JARRE on my CDman...

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • SoundTrack at first.
    NoiseTracker follows.
And finally ProTracker, the best one in 1990 ...

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • "Glorious Landscape".
With this piece, I succeeded in composing the music I always wanted :
original, non-repetitive, beautiful... at least for me :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • "Greasy Duck" (i heard a lot about it so let me say that it's a really
    original composition from myself.

"Purple shades" of Hi-Lite is a complete rip of my tune !)
It's one of the worst music i ever have composed !
I make it quickly, in one night (the day before), for Ninja who wanted a
chiptune for his demo named "Destroy Fascism". Unfortunately (if i can say),
the demo wins the Saturn Party 93! So, this music was very diffused and is
the most known among which I did (with "Time for manga" too).

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is 33% part of a demo or a game.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Sometimes, just for fun.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • It sounds like they are less "rich" than the one we could make in .mod, at the
    time.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • My Top-5:

    1) Klisje paa klisje / Walkman
    2) Knulla kuck / Moby
    3) Overload / Tip & Mantronix
    4) Florence / Audiomonster
    5) Phenomena / Tip & Firefox

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Not at the moment.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Jean-Michel Jarre.
    Daft Punk.
    Craig Armstrong.
    Dido
    Gotan Project
    Infected Mushrooms
    Saint Germain

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Dream...

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • The scene ?
I'm creating freeware and shareware :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Hi and thanks to all the people i meet during this "amiga" years...
