  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Well, the first computer I had ever saw was Timex 2048 with green monitor
    and 3" FDD. That was shock! Knight Lore, Moon Patrol and Gunfright. I was 9
    years old and I loved that!
    Later my friend bought C64 and I heard MUSIC! That was my start :)


  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore C64 II (new case, new SID) with Datasette - playing, drawing
    Commodore C128D (metal case) - playing, drawing,
    textwritting for Commodore&Amiga Magazine,
    demoscene (digitalisations, learning ASM, drawing, swapping)
    - I STILL HAVE IT!
    Commodore A500 (old AGNUS, red LED)
    - textwritting, drawing, composing (modules)
    Commodore A600HD (2MB Chip) - textwritting, drawing, composing, demoscene :)
    - I STILL HAVE IT!
    PC 386SX 25MHz -
    programming, FM composing
    PC Pentium 90MHz - playing, drawing, composing, demoscene :)
    PC Pentium Cyrix 150MHz - playing, drawing, composing, demoscene :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well - nowdays it's really true, but I'm rather renaissance man - You know :)
    I like drawing pictures and composing as well as projecting Softsynths and
    programming nice tweaked effects. Especially FM/chip and goatrance music are
    my favourite styles.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I'm using Fasttracker 2.09 as a tracker :) On Amiga my favourites were
    Protracker 3.15 and Quadra Composer

    I'm using ATR-303 Wunderwaffe Softsynth too :). It's our own softsynth -
    projected by me and coded by Dzozef/Altair. It has almost all needed effects:
    - pattern editing
    - pulse, saw up, saw down, triangle, sine, noise waveforms
    - lowpass, highpass, bandpass, band-reject filters with resonance and
    envelope modulation
    - ring-modulation, pulse-width modulation, frequency modulation, amplitude
    modulation
    - synchronisation
    - distortion, overdrive, flanger, echo :)
    It IS a SOLUTION for goatrance sequences :)))


  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm - the goal is still to be reached!


  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • All my modules are just way to.... I don't know what - but to something
    better :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is essential! Weak demo/game with impressing music IS always better! :)


  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes - I still composing - for demo, intro music
    and for my own pleasure :)


  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Midi - sucks!
    Wave - too big.
    Mpeg - for commercial music stored on my HDD :) NOT for sceners -
    it's impossible to learning without sources (patterns, notes).
    MP3 - like MPEG. Fuck da commerce! :)


  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • My own tunes?? Or other musicians?
    Music from Barbarian
    game by Palace (sword fighting) - C64 SID version!
    Commando high-score music.


  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • We are planning to make Friendship CD with goatrance music.


  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Astral Projection, Tromesa, Juno Reactor, Aphex Twin, Clannad, Enya


  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Scene spirit! Thanks to C64 - I falled in love in scene. :)


  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes! It's a part of my life.
