  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1986 probably when my dad came home one glorious day with a C64 under his
    arm.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64: Mostly gaming. Some Basic programming. I fell in love with computer
music and gfx after playing alot of brilliant games.

Atari 1040STE: Gaming but also started making my first tunes in some tracker
I don't remember the name of.

Amiga 1200: Made more music in Octamed (brilliant) and some lame gfx as
    well.

PC: Music and a game or two :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Dunno really, tried both gfx and programming but i realised I wasn't a
    coding- nor a gfx-person.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Nowadays I mainly use Reason but Octamed was my weapon of choice on the
Amiga and probably used it more that any other app.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Still haven't :). Chip'nDales and Autoreverse where the only 2 tunes I was
proud of and also got some good feedback on. I never completed and released
that many mods, more like 200 unfinished tunes :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Many of them :) since I was just in the beginning of my musical evolution. I
made alot of trance back then and I don't like that type of trance anymore
(the only trance I like now is psychedelic trance).

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • For me the music and the programming/concept/design was (is) the most
important parts of a demo (ofcourse) but when it comes to games, the
classics I spent most of the time playing, the music is the only element
that nowadays makes a nostalgic tear appear in the corner of my eye.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, leisure. I use Reason and make hip-hop, some techno and amiga-pop
    influenced elekto-thingies :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • There's alot of both good and bad music but I must say that the scene-music
has gone worse. Probably because all to good composers quit leaving all the
4/4 Bassdrum on every beat and hihat in between, copy paste paste paste done
behind :). I only find like one or two demos/intros from each party I really
like. Rest is like soulless, design-poor visual basic stuff.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Shiit. That will take me a couple of sheets and two weeks :) but the first
tunes that pop into mind: Last ninja 1-3, the tunes from Alcatraz legendary
demo Odyessey. Turrican 2. These are like the biggest and, well first
favourites. But a quick random pick: The tune from Ukonx demo My World,
    Nexus7 - Andromeda, 3state - Money etc.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Maybe :). Never thought of that before.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Alot. But right now: Mouse on mars, Kid Koala, Buck65, Radiohead, Grandaddy,
Eels, Arsonists, Jurassic 5, Mr Lif, Daft Punk, Roots Manuva, Outkast,
Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Cari Lekebusch, Freq Nasty.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • My whole way of thinking. To be able to tell what's good and what sucks in
todays music, coding, design, gfx etc. I must say that the c64 and Amiga
raised me as much as my pharents did. Or more :).

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nah. It's just not the same anymore.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • The Amiga/c64 era is still one of the best times in my life. Thankyou all
for the inspiration, the c64/Amiga pioneers who opened my eyes and ears for
what's good. I would rather show my respect than to greet the groups/people,
who still inspire me, but never knew personally.
Fairlight, Ikari, Triad, Alcatraz, Melon Design, Polka Brothers, 3state,
Haujobb, Razor1911, Rebels, The Silents, Ukonx, Andromeda, Spaceballs,
C-lous, Scoopex, Keso :), Lizardking, Jogeir Liljedahl, Some1, Morrow,
Azazel, Chromag, Clawz, Coma, Dr. Awesome, Emax, Jazz, jester, Laxical,
Subject. And some friends: Dragonpund :), A!ds, Zug, Maytag.
