  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I got an Amiga for Christmas when I was 12 (1988/1989). One or two years later
I started getting interrested in soundtracker (after having heard Chris
Hüelsbeck's astonishing Turrican and Z-Out music ;) and demomaking in
    general...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Well now, let me see....

-First one was an Atari 2600(the same year it was released...1985 or 1986)

-Then came a second hand Commodore 64 (never got it to work, shame on me)

-...After that was the Sega MS 8-Bit (Hours of pleasuuuuuuureee!!! :))

-Then I got the Amiga with its' Workbench & Extras ("say:amiga ruuuulez")

    -And then other consoles

-And finally in 1998 my first PC

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Easy...> Music has been in my blood since I'm born !!!

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker, Startrekker, Protracker on Amiga

FruityLoops, Fastracker 2 on PC (actually still using it)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Find-it(short version).mod was presented at the Saturne Party 4(or 5 ..?) for
music competition and got 2nd place behind MaF but It's not my favourite ....

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • delire4versionrap.mod (hope that nobody has this tune, if you do erase it
    NOW... :))))

This was a skit on a good friend that I made with Tenshu / Syndrome.

    I regret it now.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is what sets the atmosphere in a demo or a game....(doh! really?!? ;))

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, a bit for my own pleasure...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I always HATED midi because of its' un-even beats, otherwise I have nothing
    against the other formats.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The list would be too long, but some of them are:

    4mat - "Ohnoademosong.mod"

    Chris Hüelsbeck - "The Desert Rocks.tmf" (Turrican2 level 1-1)

    Travolta - "Condom Corruption.mod"

    Traven - "Miss Kebab.xm"
    Traven - "Miss Kebab2.xm"
    Traven - "Miss Kebab3.xm"
    Traven - "Miss Kebab4.xm"

    Maf - "464.xm"
    Maf - "2ndworld.mod"
    Maf - "Coredump.xm"

    So many more....

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I already did but others will be done soon especially for web-usage....:))

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I love Björk, Jimi HendriX, Supertramp, Daft Punk, Mickael Jackson, The Beatles,
U2, The Police, Smashing Pumpkins, 2-Pac, Radiohead, Dee-Lite, Pierpoljack,
Ska-P, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquaï, Air, Bob
Marley&the Wailers, Serge Gainsbourg, The Cardigans, and of course Scene
musicians. (the list could go on and on)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Personnality, respect, headaches, sadness but many years of JOY!!!! :D

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not really ...Maybe I'll come back one of these days in COCOON (Dreams CAN come
    true...:)
