  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • When I got a MSX in xmas'85. My brother taught me BASIC shortly afterwards.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • MSX, two C=64, Amiga 2000, Amiga 4000/030 (later upgraded to a 040)... I've
    never owned a PC.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • It's more inmediately rewarding, you can pull out a decent track in half an
hour, whereas coding something or drawing a decent pic takes days or weeks.
    I'm just lazy...

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • OctaMED 5.04, but I always saved my mods in standard protracker format. The
extra features weren't worth the lack of compatibility. And for some reason
people tended to think you were lame if you used MED.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I never reached any goal. Come to think of it, that's why I ended up quitting.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Heh, I reckon most of them were crap.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The best soundtrack is the one you don't notice. My favourite demos have great
music but you don't notice it because everything is great, not just the music.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Nope, I just play the guitar. I don't have as much time as I used to.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I don't care much, the scene as we knew it doesn't exist anymore anyway. I
feel quite detached from the current scene.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Desert Dreams 2 by Laxity, Galaxy II by Mantronix, Underwater by Codex...
there are too many to mention here.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I'm not that sadistic!

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Spanish and portuguese folk music mainly (I bet you didn't expect that)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Well I wouldn't have such a good job if it weren't for the knowledge I gained
during my scene years. But sometimes I regret spending so much time in front
of the miggy instead of going out etc. In the other hand I won some friends
and had a good time generally speaking.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not anymore, I retired a couple of years ago.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Uh, for those who are wondering: I'm not dead! Greets to all the people I met
during all this years, and see you... in another life.
