  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In 1987-88, I was 12 and I fell in love with a C64.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore 64 & 128: games and listening to the amazing SID!
Amiga 500 & 1200: games & music. Discovering modules, what a nice shock!
    PC: games & music too.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I always be fascinated by music. I can't draw anything and I hate coding, it irritate me. ;-)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • ProTracker 3.15 (Amiga)
    FastTracker 2 (PC)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think of "Atril", "Liveforms" and "Stasis Field".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Mmm... no. I have lots of bad mods in my collection, but it's funny (even hilarious) to
    listen to that.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • For me, a good demo/game is the result of 1/3 good code, 1/3 good gfx, 1/3 good music and the
remaining 1/3 for... Huh? No remaining 1/3?! Oops...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, but without computers. I have a "real" musical band called Octarine. We play medieval
music with electronic & rock sounds.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Everything is cool, when people makes music.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The title theme of "Shadow of the Beast" by David Whittaker. What a outstanding track!
    Some Diablo/Budbrain's mods.
    Grave-Yard by Fleshbrain.

    Errr... Many many many others...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. Few years ago, I tried to do that with my brand new synthesizer, but the result didn't
please me. I didn't find the correct sound and I prefered keeping my mods like that. Mod is mod.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • All kinds of music, from medieval to electronica, from SID-tunes to siberian punk.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Friendship, fun, motivation to make music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, my social life, my work and my band take all my time...

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Yes:

Guybrush to the world: Sorry for my bad english!
Guybrush to AMP: Thank you for the Amiga Music Preservation, it's a great idea!
Guybrush to Jean-Pierre Software: Amiga hein ça fi!
Guybrush to all the mod-makers over the world: WE ARE HEROOOOOOOOES!!!!
The world to Guybrush: Hey! Keep cool man!
Guybrush to the world: Okay, okay, okay...
Guybrush to the woodsmith: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
The woodsmith to Guybrush: Oh shut up.
