  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Hm, I think I was 14 years when I've got my first computer, a C64. So the
    year is about 1989.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My first computer is a C64 as I said, and I coding and gaming with it. The
following one was a Commodore Amiga 500, which I used to play games and
create musics with trackers. That was the first time when I started to
    create songs.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I'm a coder too, so this question is not so specific for me. :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • At the Amiga I used trackers, but I cannot remember the names. At the PC I
started to use the Scream Tracker, after that I used the Impulse Tracker,
and finally now I using the Logic Audio 5. (with a MIDI keyboard)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hm, I don't know, I think I made some really good music, and made a lot of
    average stuffz... :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • yes and no: If I made a really no good music :), I didn't save it, so I
forget it at the current moment... :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • If a tune is really in harmony with the visual side of the production, so
the atmosphere of the music equals with the feeling of the movie (or game),
    then thats a good music.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, but rarely. Sometimes I've not enough time and energy to compose or
finalize a music. But its not my work, I'm a programmer at the office, but I
really like to play with music softwares to create tunes.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I don't understand the question exactly, but mp3 is OK for me, a good one to
hold and swap the musics. Wave? yes, there's no music without waves... :)
MIDI is the key for professional musics today, but It can work without a lot
of MIDI devices, if you've a powerfull PC with a MIDI keyboard, that's my
opinion. (and the cost is much lower than any other way)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hm, I think the mods of the Dune game (Amiga) for example, it was a school.
Some tracks of the Future Crew, for example the music of the PC demo called
Second Reality, but there're a lot of really good songs.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Maybe, but I'm not sure. But I want to make a CD with our (Parasite Project)
songs, and these are mastered ones.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • It's a hard question, currently I don't find the exact music which I like at
all, but the electronic music is my all time favorite, that is what I'm
sure. :) I like the drumNbase, breaks and beats, trance, but not all of
them. Depeche Mode is really professional, but the last album of DM is a bit
poor for me. So its too dificult to exaclty define it.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Nothing. :) Eh, some good feelings when I saw good demos and songs, but I
was a PC scener. I never forget the hungarian parties and scene dudes. That
    was kiGn. =D

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Definiately no.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • All hungarian sceners, especially the active scene dudes of 1995-2000 years.
    Thanks for the report!
