  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Hmm, I think it was at the time I was 5 years old or so.
My parents bought a Commodore 64 with BlackBox cartridge and few games.
I was totally amazed at them and of course at awesome music which I've been listening for a hours :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • 1. Commodore 64 with BlackBox cartridge
    2. A1200, Apollo 040/40, 32 MB RAM, HDD 80 MB + 1.2 GB, CD-ROM 8x

C-64 was used by me only for games. I still have it and in near future I want to turn it into C-64 demo viewer ;)
As for Amiga.. I was doing with her everything that I do now, that means... everything :D But especially games & music.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Uh, that's a diffucult question to answer. To be honest, I just don't know :)
The first thing that wasn't game I saw on the computer was ProTracker and it put spell on me, so maybe that's why... ;)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • On Amiga - ProTracker 3.61 mostly. After few years I changed it for DigiBooster Pro2.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Another difficult question :) I like all my modules very much, that's obvious :)
And I always feel that there's something that they're lack of. Not always I know what it is ;)
But if I could choose my favourite module... hmm.. for Amiga 4ch it would be "Lords of the life", and for multichanell - "Tricky Reality".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No, there aren't such tunes :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I think it's 33.3(3)% of total game/demo value ;)
There are games and demos I've been watching/playing only because of music :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yeah, of course, it's my passion and I think I'll never give it up :)
I compose mostly for myself and I release my tunes as demoscene ones. From time to time I support demoscene productions, like diskmags or musicdisks.
The only tune I did for "commercial" purpose was one jingle... :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I don't like them :D Of course there are plenty of wonderful stream music I listen everyday, but I have a lot more fun listening to tracked songs and music from various computer platforms :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • It's hard to tell, 'cause when I once warm up to tune, I will like it constantly forever :)
So all mods I have are my favourities :)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Not for now.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Every tune that fits my taste :)
If you ask me about favourite band, it's The Prodigy.
And I really love to listen movie and anime soundtracks.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Almost everything that I know about computers and music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yeah, I am :) To tell the truth, I'm rather new on the scene :)
Earlier I was too young (IMHO) to show up ;D

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Don't let the tracked music disappear, people!
It has to be immortal, and it has to amaze more and more people all over the world ;)
