ZX80, ZX81, Specrtum 48k+, CBM Amiga 500+, 2 x Amiga 600HD, Amiga 1200HD I still have all of them apart from the 500 and one of the 600`s which I part exd for the 1200. I entered the scene in various demo groups as a graphics artist. then progressed to music & ascii. I also did loads of legal trading and magazine articles in LSD`s Grapevine, never a games fan the piracy issue was always in the background but I wanted .mod`s! The main program all my Music was composed on is Octamed 4. Though I did use sountracker, protracker and Octamed 5. I only ever fininshed about 100 of literally 1000`s of modules. but i suppose one of the chip tunes i did were my favorite. Only one tune springs to mind, and every variation of it... Thankfully I did not write it but here it is... AXEL F Unbeatlable value! Music in a demo was like a modern day rap battle. In every group/demo the module had to be different or some new effect heard or even amazing samples like vocals. "WOW!" Unfortunately not on my computer, though i do use my Roland MC-303 sequencer when I`m bored. I am looking for a program similar to Octamed for the PC. If anyone has any ideas, drop me a line. I would like to use high quality samples in a tracker like environment and play them through the soundcard without midi similar to OctaMed, Soundtracker, Protracker etc on the Amiga. Any advance on the quality of music production is a bonus! A module by a guy called Laxity, of Kefrens. He inspired the scene with atmospheric samples and amazing demo soundtracks. Also a good friend back in the days, Gaza R. If you see this Gary, drop me a line mate! Yes, probably within the next year. Prodigy, Aphex Twin 4 years of trading ideas, modules, graphics, samples and ascii. A true hobby for an teenager! No, though i probably would if i had group to take me under there wings. hehe Hi to Spangly/Guy, Gaza R, Simon Marfleet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2005 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
