I actually bought my first Computer in 1985, a C=Plus/4 which I considered more powerfull than the C=64. The next machine was an A500 in 1986. A4000T (CSPPC/CVPPC/PIV/Repulse): My current Audio environment with Yamaha S 90 ES Synthesizer PowerMac G4: Server/Workstation AMD64 PC: Gaming/Misc AthlonXP PC: NetBSD Workstation Nostalgic Machines: sgi Indigo2 Impact 10000, A1200 (060), A500, C=128, C=Plus/4 Music derived to be the most expressive medium for my artistic ambitions Various Soundtrackers and clones; got stuck with OctaMEDSS There were several Tunes I considered a goal. The Tune most likely felt was 'Rubbish Dump'. In future, there are many more goals for me to come. I'm currently working on a professional, solid but still freaky touch. I do not have such a specific Tune. Maybe there was a Tune showing some childerness which I liked to forget. The other way round is a more interesting part: I lost about 20 Modules with a HDD crash. I'd pay every price to get em back. There also were some GFX I spread on a 'Chaos' User-Meeting I like to get back. I guess Music is an often underestimated and HIGHLY important part of a production. It transports (or at least it should transport) atmosphere, emotion and action. If you do not listen to the Sound aware, the Sound reaches you nevertheless. I'm very active at the moment, regards to my brand new Synthesizer. There will be extended and revised Tracks of my current works fulfilling more professional demands. They are the technical solution in our time, and I am glad to live in that time. The possibilities are neverending. For instance, 'Extended Radiomix' was developed digitizing all sorts of Sounds that came through TV. I captured everything that seemed interesting and formed a Tune around it. It was pure fun. Later on I continued this with 'Spaceball' featuring passages from Mel Brook's movie 'Spaceballs'. 'Rubbish Dump' made it's way DEEP into (my) conciousness; for the broad listeners, the Tune is way of being to short. I'll do an extendend and revised version. At least 'Thermalzerstuber' and 'Captured' are part of my all times favourite Tunes, too - showing a great expression. Music from other authors, they are: Scumball Title (Tim Follin) Monty on the run (Rob Hubbard) Bubble Bobble Amiga (David Whittaker) Hybris Title (Paul van der Valk) Kult Title (Stephane Picq) Cream of the Earth (Romeo Knight) Absolutely YES. This is my next aim. I'm tuned. Currently most Music from other artists is confusing me. I had enough of inspiration in the past, still it's time to develop something. I'm listening to the actual Music played, but from a distance. The 80's were my absolute favourite so far. If I do not turn my Amp on for making Music myself, I often listen to Internet streaming channels, preferrably Electonica. Everything, period. Not really. I'm doing my own business. I set up a small Webpage with some of my current development, that gets about 5 visits and 282 MByte Traffic per Month (and these are not myself or friends! ;) From that point I am active. Best 'Golden Regards' to everyone that gave the Amiga / C64 it's fabulous shape. Greetings especially to Timo, my best friend. Let the good times roll...
