  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I wanted to play games, ofcourse. I first got touch with computer when there
were computers like Aquarius, Spectravideo, Sharp.. But my first one was
    c-64. 1985 something I guess.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I have had c 64 and Amiga 500. First I played many games, but after that
I wanted to do more and I got paintproggies and then trackers..

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I listen so much music and computer/synth music was so close to me in that
time. I don't like math, so I didn't know how to code... And I made some
gfx, but I sucked.. I don't want to stare those pixels when they are not
    in order..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker was my program.. I did use SOundtracker and other trackers as
well.. Then I made a couple of tunes with Future Compser, but I didn't
    enjoy that so much

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I haven't done that yet... I guess it's rewarding when you get your job
done. It may be bad or good, but when the tune is finished and maybe
    even published, that's rewarding.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Ofcourse there are tunes, that sounds awful now, but I guess every module
had to be done.. That's the way you learn.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It's the same value as with the movies. I don't think that I could enjoy
a demo/game/movie without music. By the music you can express feelings,
make points, even save the whole package with a good music...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm still composing.. With pc and trakcers/midi at the moment, but mostly
I'm doing it for fun, but you'll never know what will happen.. I have made
music for 3 videos (not for money, but the name).. 2 of them were
"learn-how-2-drive" videos and one was for a fair.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Sometimes I think that it's so easy nowadays... You don't have to put every
effect number and so on, but that's the way it is. Making music was harder
    couple of years ago..

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I can't remember, but I always liked Moby's tunes..

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Phew.. I listen so much music, always different dance things... .. .

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Friends, nice moments, great parties and ofcoz the possibility to release
    music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Hmm, not so much.. Just hanging with bunch of great oldtimers.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Everybody in dESiRE and JustUs organiztions.. Complex guys in Finland..
Prayer and all the other contacts I had many years ago..
