    Handle: C0RpSe (CpS for short)

    Group: HRG

    Date of birth: 21/02/1977

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • The interest was games. In 1991.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • The very first was 80286 AT with 80 Mb hdd and 1Mb memory. Then it was p-133
with 4 Gb hdd and 32Mb memory. Then it was pIII-700 with 60 Gb with 128. Now
it's pIV-2.4Ghz with 60 Gb hdd and 512 mb memory

The very first pc was my gaming gear... Then on p-133 I started writing muzax
    and playing games mostly :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well, I grown up from my student times... I have to make money. It's usual for
scenners I suppose, because you contribute your efforts to the scene while
you're having enough time and of course while you have a desire to achive such
things as to be famous and to be well-known.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Impulse Tracker, Sound Forge with DX plugins, Awave

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm... It's hard to say, because there is no limit for reaching a perfection.
Well, I would say "Pray for me tonight", "Endless", "Blocked" (cps-pray.it,
    cps-endl.it, cps-blck.it)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • If there would be such tune you couldn't hear it anyway :) What's the reason to
    release shit?

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • First of all, self-esteem. If you do quality things, if people listening to
them - what more could prove your necessity for the scene?

    a. In a demo - music without demo is useless. Syncronized demo with music is a
    masterpiece.

    b. In a game - a music in a game creates right attitude for a gameplay. So it's
very useful and valuable. Sometimes music is a best thing in some games,
because only music is valuable and gameplay is not.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, I am still composing, but I became so lazy :) Well, when I have some free
time and have right mood I do composing, but it's so rare now... It always was
a hobby. Just because my music was non-commercial, but I wouldn't mind if one
day I do money for my music :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, it's a technology ways of reproducing author's idea or whatever author's
thought. I think nothing about this. It's just a way you can play music.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hmmm... Tunes... I haven't had listening to too much, because of influence. I
didn't want to be "like someone". I wanted to be original. So no favourite
    tunes.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Yes, I am planning. (Are you reading my mind ?)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Okay, here we go.

Deathmetal: Edge of Sanity, Death, Arch Enemy, Shape of
Despair, Entombed, Anorexia Nervosa (the best black-metal band from France
I've ever heard), Fear Factory and many more.

Electronic: Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, many tech-step performers -
Technical Itch, TeeBee, Aphrodite, Dom and Roland, etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Nothing. I've never was into amiga/c64 scene.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope. I have to make money instead of wasting time over my hobby.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Yeah, of course. Greetings to all HRG members, tEr, Wolfa, DeadEmotion, Shere
Khan, Death_Lord, Andy N_Lord, jager, Rulix, aeuk, Kosm, FrizzleFried and of
    course my girl-friend Milkyway. :)
