  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It was in 1989 with Commodore 128 as a birthday present. It was really
    great in those times.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore 128, Amiga 500 and then a few PC models. I was of course not
only a musician but rather hard gamer and joy crusher too. First music
software that i was using seriously was however later, on Amiga.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I just wanted to create music. I started experimenting and exploring the
world of sounds when i used Amiga. This is the first computer i used to
compose. Sound programing in Commodore software was way too hard for me.
Samples were way more selfexplaining to use.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • The first one was ProTracker but only for short period. After that it
was ScreamTracker on PC and later its better clone ImpulseTracker. Now i
prefer Windows-based trackers like SkaleTracker, MadTracker and Modplug.
No one is the only which i prefer the most.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None probably. I pretty much hated my music before i finished anything.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Good question. Probably the first one i think. Hopefully i do not have
it. It died with bad sectors somewhere on my Amiga floppy disks.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Let me type my answer with questions: Would you like your world being
deaf or just being blind? How would you experience it? The same is for
music in every multimedia and not only demos, intros, but games and
    films too.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • For most of my time on demoscene i was rather observer having few
contacts rather than mindblowing creative musician. Of course i have
written pretty bunch of modules. Some of them i lost after buying PC,
but the most important were recovered. I have also rewritten many
modules on PC later. It is all for your pleasure to sharpen your
experience with music, to be better creator and to be better listener.
This was the most important for me. I have never created music
comercially and i'm currently not planning to do that.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Is MIDI really very much of today? I thought it is dead. MP3 is ok. I
never was one of the persons that was blaming scene parties when they
started evolving from module formats to stream music. In many cases it
gave more freedom to musicians, but as far as i know some cheated
because you couldn't see into source file yourself. Now everything has
changed and tracked competitions are rather seen rarely. Almost as much
as MP3 compos were in the past.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I like most music of Amiga and PC classics like Dizzy, Virgill, Reed,
Heatbeat, Purple Motion, Ukulele, Zodiak, Vogue. There are many talented
persons that came after them too and are very often underrated. It would
be so much to write about everyone.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, but i have released few mixtapes and minor dj.sets

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I prefer mostly electronic music like ambient, idm, drum & bass,
progressive. I listen mostly to: Burial, Autechre, Amon Tobin, Prodigy,
Teebee, AFX, Black Sun Empire, Sigur Ros, Telefon Tel Aviv, Download,
Concord Dawn, Trentemoller, Melodium, Maps and Diagrams, William
    Basinski, Squarepusher.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Everything. Thanks to it i started creating music. Trackers and scene
were inseparable in my days. I mean, you couldn't really meet a person
that knew something about trackers, but didn't heard anything about
    scene.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, not really.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings and love to all i know, all my contacts, these alive and those
broken, all my friends. Keep up your good work.
