  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1982 or so I got my first computer, a vic20. I immideatly started swap cracked
games :) Then I learned how to crack cartridges my self (at the age of eleven!)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • * Vic20 - I programmed basic and did som easy cartridge cracking.

    * C-64 - I mostly used that one to play on but I also made a simple database
with some of my friends that we sold.

    * Atari 520ST - I mostly played on this one too, but I started tracking on this
    one :)

    * Amiga 500 - Mostly tracking

    * Amiga 2000 (68030 accelerator) - Mostly tracking but also some modem swapping.
I also had a small BBS called Out Of Grace.

    * Amiga 1200 (127MB HD) Mostly tracking but also some modem swapping.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I did some assembler on the c20, c64 and tried it on the amiga, but it was to
hard.. Gfx?? Me?? I just can't! But most of all I have always loved music. I've
played in lots of diferent bands on lots of diferent instruments. From Guitar
to base to drums. I have also produced some music for psi-Q, but that was a
long time ago :) After I quit the Amiga scene I started dj'ing and I have been
to both Spain and Germany to play.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Can't remember the name of the first one I used was it Startracker or
Musictracker?? But when Protracker came it was the one to use!

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Ooohh... There is one that I made in the end, that was very very great..
I can't remember it's name and noone has it left :( It's the song I've always
remembered, but never been able to hear. Of the songs I still have I really
like alpine-cut that I made with d-zire/TSL. It was kinda big for me to work
with someone from The Silents! The tune was used in The Nordic Charts, I
    think :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • A lot of them ;) I'm not sure. Well it has to be the "remake" I made of LA
Style - James Brown is dead :) Yuck.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a Demo back in Amiga days the music was VERY important. But so was the gfx
and Coding. Nah.. I'm not sure. In a good demo the music, gfx and coding was
combined in a great way! You know what I mean.. I really like Crionics by
The Silents!!!! That is a good production.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • No, I'm at the moment "quiting" my dj "carreer". I wanna start working with
d-zire in his studio. We've said about 100 times that we should produce stuff
together, but I've been to much out of the country. We'll se now :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • If you mean scene music I have no Idea.. I know absolutley nothing of the scene
today. Well darwin/TSL Showed me some stuff but I felt it was all techno. I
like techno, but does it all have to be techno (this opinion is from maybe 3-4
    pc demos so...)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Amiga: Heatbeat/Space love!!!!!!!! I Love it!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No! Maybe I'll convert some old tunes to propellerheads reason. But It's not
    planned.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • We'll as dj's I love Dj Tiesto, Carl Cox and Armand van Helden.

Other music I really love is Christian Kjellvander and classical jazz and
    classical music!

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The Amiga scene actually helped me away from criminality. I had a troubled
youth but music on Amiga gave me a hobby that I loved, instead of getting
drunk all the time and beating people up. I was very close to jail when I was
15, before I found the amiga scene (True, NO bullshit!)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I wanna shout out to:
    All in Midway
    All in Equinox
    All in The doodles^Shock
    All in Akropolis

    Especially these guys:
    darwin/TSL
    d-zire/TSL
    The-Silencer/Equinox
    Rioter/Equinox
    Skilly/Orient
    Gee/Midway
    flood/Akropolis
    Steam/Equinox
    Butch/Scoopex
    mr.Urk/Phenomena?

    Nuff Said! Peace!
