`n. .rP' `qb ,dP' TLb. ,dMP' all rite, now you get the chance to read TML.dMMP some facts about some of the major amiga ,nmm`XXMPX musicians. read about their history in ,#MP'~~XNXYNXTb. the scene and their plans in future.yes, ,d~' dNNP `YNTb. that's meant to be read while listening to ,~ ,NN' `YNb their modules. read 'em over and over and over.. dNP `Yb. ,NN' `b. · i n t e r v i e w · ___________ ______dP _____________ \ / \ ,N'\____ _____________. _____ \ \_____. ____\ / \___P___/ .\--\__ __/__ |--\____)---\ _____/__ |--\_ \ _/ | | | \ | | \__| | _ \ / | \__| | /\ | | _| | | _l_ | | \ / _l_ | ___| l___/=l___|====l____/===\______|==l______|\ /l___/===\______l____/ \/ Handle: Deetsay or Pekka Pou Group: Insane or Ball or DCS (amiga) or Orange (pc) or Panic (c64) or da Jormas (everything) Date of birth: 06-Sep-1976 I probably first touched a computer in 1984 or so. My dad used to bring home a Sharp MZ-700 from work sometimes. Around 1986 C64 I played games.. Around 1991 Amiga 500 I still played games, but I also did my first awful MODs. Around 1993 Amiga 1200 I did more awful MODs. Around 1995 486/33 My first awful XM's. I also started coding on the Amiga and making music on the C64. Around 1997 Pentium 75 More awful XM's. Around 1999 Celeron 300A ..and now I've been experimenting with Buzz. And playing games! Techno music I suppose. I would've made quite a crappy musician for traditional computer/synthesizer music. But when techno arrived, sounds were more important than melodies... And I guess that suited me. And the very few raves we had around here were cool. I wasn't patient enough for good gfx. And I am a bit of a coder I think. At least that's what they pay me for... On the Amiga I guess Protracker 2.3 rules forever. On the PC I are been mostly using FastTracker 2, and I've just started with Buzz. All and none. If it's been released then it's probably reached some kind of a goal. But I guess my goalkeeper sucks; I never had much quality control. Quite a lot of them are quite crappy, but I don't mind remembering them. I know I ment well.. 700 DK. Yep, we've played with Raato, Vesuri, Pam and Naks of da Jormas under the name .jRM at some of the very few raves we've had around here. They're ok, but naturally the original 4-channel mod format beats them all... There's too much to remember now, but these I remember loving when they were accurate (laugh all you want): Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer Rob Hubbard - Commando Def Leppard - Animal Laserdance - Around the Planet Bomb The Bass - Megablast Chris Huelsbeck - To be on top (intro) Moby - Electricfunk (or something like that) Captain - Space Debris Jester - Cyberride Romeo Knight - I'm gonna be infectious U96 - Das Boot Prodigy - Out of Space Hardly. But I could participate in making one with .jRM if we ever get that productive. (Almost) anything goes.. I'll never have enough CD's to keep me happy, so mostly I just listen to the radio. 200000 experience points. A life. Or something that vaguely resembles one. More or less. /me feels free. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2001 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
