  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I probably first touched a computer in 1984 or so. My dad used to bring
home a Sharp MZ-700 from work sometimes.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Around 1986 C64 I played games..
Around 1991 Amiga 500 I still played games, but I also did my
    first awful MODs.
Around 1993 Amiga 1200 I did more awful MODs.
    Around 1995 486/33 My first awful XM's.
I also started coding on the Amiga and
    making music on the C64.
    Around 1997 Pentium 75 More awful XM's.
Around 1999 Celeron 300A ..and now I've been experimenting with
    Buzz. And playing games!

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Techno music I suppose. I would've made quite a crappy musician for
traditional computer/synthesizer music. But when techno arrived, sounds
were more important than melodies... And I guess that suited me. And the
very few raves we had around here were cool.

I wasn't patient enough for good gfx. And I am a bit of a coder I think.
At least that's what they pay me for...

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • On the Amiga I guess Protracker 2.3 rules forever. On the PC I are been
mostly using FastTracker 2, and I've just started with Buzz.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • All and none. If it's been released then it's probably reached some kind
of a goal. But I guess my goalkeeper sucks; I never had much quality
    control.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Quite a lot of them are quite crappy, but I don't mind remembering them.
    I know I ment well..

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • 700 DK.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yep, we've played with Raato, Vesuri, Pam and Naks of da Jormas under the
name .jRM at some of the very few raves we've had around here.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • They're ok, but naturally the original 4-channel mod format beats them
    all...

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • There's too much to remember now, but these I remember loving when they
were accurate (laugh all you want):

Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer
    Rob Hubbard - Commando
    Def Leppard - Animal
    Laserdance - Around the Planet
    Bomb The Bass - Megablast
Chris Huelsbeck - To be on top (intro)
Moby - Electricfunk (or something like that)
    Captain - Space Debris
    Jester - Cyberride
Romeo Knight - I'm gonna be infectious
    U96 - Das Boot
    Prodigy - Out of Space

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Hardly. But I could participate in making one with .jRM if we ever get
    that productive.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • (Almost) anything goes.. I'll never have enough CD's to keep me happy, so
mostly I just listen to the radio.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • 200000 experience points. A life. Or something that vaguely resembles one.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • More or less.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • /me feels free.
