  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Oh my gawd.. I think I was like 8 or so when a cousin of mine showed me
his C64 with the Tape Deck which he then all gave to me since he bought an
all new C128 :) So I guess.. I was 8.. which means.. 1987. What really caught
me I guess, was the fact that it wasn't one of those consoles that you can only
play with, but that you could do masses of stuff ( HAIL the poke command ;) )

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Let's see.. here a summary of how it went.. C64, Amiga 500, Amiga 1200,
first PC 386, 486, Pentium and so on and so on... yes I have succumb to
the evil world of Bill Gates ;)

The C64 I sold to buy myself the Amiga 500 and the 500 I sold to buy the
1200 .. BUT.. the 1200 is still with me.. and I will never let it go..
unless you pay me a million dollars ;)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Actually... I guess what really caught me into it was the fact to make
my own music, I already played an instrument and I liked doing music.
But composing your own music? That was like .. WOW :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker, Protracker, Protracker .. hell.. is there anything better
than that ?.. nowadays yes :) but back then.. protracker was the bomb!

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm.. I don't think i've ever tried to reach a goal with Music. So i
guess I was mostly trying to express my feelings or my moods. Which
sometimes I succeeded and sometimes I didn't ;) If your asking with which
one I reached my goal? Hell.. wait a sec.. let me go unearth my mods ;)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • My early Happy-Trance stuff.. coz it sucks ;) and no.. you can't have it :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • it has a high value.. music will help set the mood for a game or a
demo.. it sets a stage for the viewer, gamer. Spreads emotions that fit
the situation. For example.. spooky, happy etc..

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Sadly, I haven't done much composing in the last 3 years.. but i'll
definitely won't give up on it..

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well.. like everything evolved so did the Music Formats.. and they allow
you new possibilties.. So all in all.. I think it's great...

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hell yeah.. Mortimer Twang was the man! His Shit has to be my most
    favourite stuff...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Who knows.. maybe.. one.day...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • At the Moment: German HipHoppers: Main Concept .. and System of a Down

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The Feeling of Family and belonging to something big..

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I still know some people.. but sadly.. no.. i'm not active anymore..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • ... big last words eh ?.. how about a little something for the new
Generation out there: Quit the Gaming and become Creative dammit! ;)
