  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In early 1985, my parents finally decided to buy me an Atari St 520 Stf (this
good old version with a simple sided floppy drive). And I immediatly bought
some games like 'Mortville manor', 'B.A.T' ... And I heard those really nice
samples...I wanted to do the same. Fortunately someone released Protracker
on Atari STE a few years later (in '89 or something like that) I immediatly
felt in love for tracking. I released my first musics in 92-93 with 'Eko'.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Before my Atari I had a C64, CPC 464. With both I used to code a little some
huge listings given in some famous french magazines (Hebdogiciel) for example :)
    but not music.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I never end up making music...Have a look at my website..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Nowadays i've been using Logic audio. I've stopped tracking in 99 when I
    discovered Midi.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Pfou ! Hard question. I think I never reached any goal. I just hope I gave
some special feelings at a special moment. Let's say that the most wellknown
are those I made for 'Eko' demos.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No :) Of course when I hear them today I can feel how poor some parts can be.
But i'm also impressed to see that we all spent so much energy in making those
things... You have to have a real passion to make all those things we did :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Giving the tone, the ambiance, the colour of a demo.... For me a demo is made
of 2 things, the grafix and the music. The code only helps to give life to
what the grafist thought. Well that's the way i'd like it to be :p

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes professional and for myself.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • It gives so much possibilities to the musician.. Now musician can really
express what they feel. We are not limited to 4 voices :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Nuke/anarchy will always be my favourite musician. I keep on watching his
professional career. I lvoe everything he did. I also really love 'space debris'
by Mad Freak or some Jester musics. Dune really made a revolution, Jugi tunes
were famous too. Well too many names...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Why not it could be an idea if some people gives me positive feedback :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Actually ? Atjazz of course, Sting, many funk music and internet labels
    productions like kahvi, enoughrecords, autoplate...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Some nice friends I still have and a way to express my passion.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Well always the hard part :) Of course I greet all the people from the
demoscene I still have. All the people I met during all those years from
different countries. And i'd like to say that demomaking is not the real
thing. It's YOUR art that is the real thing. Keep on express it even if the
    demoscene stops.
