  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Around my 8th or so the interest started, playing with basic. It sagged
in after a while, and around my 12th it got my full attention again. So
    I guess '93/'94 seems reasonable.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I started on old IBM XT's (my father had one, as well as the father
of a close friend), and somewhere in '96 I believe I got a new computer,
    a 486 DX2. Now I'm using both the 486 (as a tuck-away server) and a P3.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I never concentrated solely on either of the three. I've done gfx, coding,
and music. I always liked tracking, as it got my mind of things, or let me
    express feelings.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I'll always have a special place in my heart for ScreamTracker 3, which in
my opinion was the first 'real' tracker with unparalled sound-quality.
Impulse Tracker was the logical successor, and that's still the best
tracker to date, if you ask me. Nowadays I use Buzz, which I don't consider
    a tracker.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hard to say, I have a lot (most of which is unreleased)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • There are a few, and looking at my girlfriend, it's probably the hardcore
    tracks :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • When the demo is properly synchronized to the music (or the other way around),
the sense of 'immersion' is much greater imho. I like demos where the music
is an integral part of the whole experience.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • See earlier, I'm using Buzz currently to produce a few Drum 'n Bass tracks.
    Purely leisure at the moment.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I rarely listen to anything but MP3's nowadays, altough I occasionally
listen to my Dreams compilation CD's.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The Goblin track done by Skaven, if I remember correctly. Argueably one
of the most brilliant modules on this planet.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, not right now.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Mostly Drum 'n Bass tracks

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The amiga scene did nothing to me but instirr laughter... j/k :)
I've only been involved in the PC scene really.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Hardly. Other duties are eating up my time.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • My girlfriend (for being such a wonderful girl with such a wonderful
musical taste - she doesn't dig my tracks :)
