  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My cousin bought a Sinclair ZX81 in 1983. I got interested in what he did with
it (which was basically nothing...). And one year later I bought it from him.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • 1984 - Sinclair ZX81: very simple games, some simple basic programming.

1985 - Commodore 64 + tape: playing games from tape, some simple basic
    programming
    1986 - Commodore 64 + 1541 diskdrive: playing, swapping games, programming
    basic, making music.
1988 - Amiga 500: playing games, making music

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • My great friend Magnus Andersson (Kiwi) was already into coding so I started
to do some music on the C64 for our demos. I've never had any grafix skills.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • C64: SoundMonitor, Rockminitor

Amiga: Aegis Sonix, SoundTracker, NoiseTracker, ProTracker, StarTreeker,
    MusicX.

    PC: Fasttracker, ImpulseTracker, Buzz, Cubase.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Glory to the brave 2, Voice of longing, Intro Nitro 2. They all have a Duz
"Chip-tune" style that I think is nice and very "me".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Well in AMP there is lots of my bad unfinished tunes that was uploaded by
someone else. Nevertheless; I'm happy that this person did upload them so that
I could hear them again (I've lost most of my songs)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a demo it is very essential. On C64 and Amiga game music was very important
on PC it does not matter really...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm still composing, currently only accoustic on piano. In the last years I've
been composing in Buzz and Cubase on PC.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, there are no (hardware) limits nowadays, so it is really back to who
make the best composition, melody etc.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • On 64: Most songs by Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard and Fred Grey.

On Amiga: Chris Huelsbeck(Turrican etc), Uncle Tom, Bruno.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. Well maybe if people wants it...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Röyksopp, Vangelis, Hans Zimmer.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of friends for life. A lot of memories, a skill in composing music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings to Henrik (Inferno/SCC), Anders (Covenant/SCC), Mattias (Jesus/S!P),
Kalle (Panther/S!P), Magnus (Kiwi) and Larsa (Aqua).
