  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Can't answer this question for sure. I even had one of those ancient games
with two paddles that came out before the Atari 2600, which btw, I also
owned one. My first computer was probably bought in the early 1980's.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Beside the two mentioned above, I've owned a Vic20, C64, Amiga500 and five
different PC's. I still have the C64 and Amiga500 in my possession. The
early machines were only used for games, and a few meager attempts at BASIC.
The Amiga500 was the first computer I ever used for composing.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I started playing the electric organ at the age of 6. Guess my skills w/
crayons or calculators didn't quite match up. I actually hate anything that
has to do w/ coding, and I only know some very basic BASIC and a bit of
HTML. Graphic arts is fun, but I'm simply not as good or as interested.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Have used all of the below mentioned:
    KCS, Soundtracker, Noisetracker, Octalyzer (Amiga)
Screamtracker, Fasttracker, Noisetrekker, Madtracker, Cubase (PC)
and a few others, I forgot, or simply hated too damn much.
Used all of the Amiga softwares frequently, as well as Fasttracker and Cubase
    on the PC.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • So far I haven't really felt 100% content with any of my modules, but I
guess "Lily 4 da lil ladi" or "Lost your belief" which was never released
as XM due to its file size, are two stepping stones.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yes, I made some really sick stuff on the Amiga w/ a friend of mine. It
contained foul language and degrading statements that I'm ashamed to have
recorded. Well, I was a kid, I guess. None of these songs have been released,
so no greater harm done. There are naturally less interesting songs out
there, but who cares? It's more about learning and evolving, than about
creating nothing but impressive new songs.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • My interest in demos is pretty insignificant, sad to say. In games, the
music can really create a vivid atmosphere, very much the same way it does
in movies. Need I mention that I love epic music?

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm currently in a semi-professional state, working full time with other
obligations, putting a few hours of my spare time each week into various
music projects. I'm also working on a demo-CD along with my wife and a friend
of mine. Our set consist of synths, acoustic and classic guitars and we
    use Cubase for sequencing.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I'm not up to date with what's going on within the scene nowadays. I stumble
across a few interesting scene MP3's now and then, but basically that's
    it.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Ascent of the cloud eagle, Guitarslinger and Cosmic outflow, to mention
a few. Pretty much anything by Darkhalo, Warder and Hunz.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Well, the demo-CD I mentioned earlier will most likely not contain any of
the released mod-material. Perhaps some time in the future.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listening to?

  • Kings of convenience, Weeping willows, Dire straits, Sting, Aha and Bo Kaspers
Orkester, among others. But mostly my/our own stuff, lol.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Wasn't involved in the C64 scene other than when leeching games. The Amiga-scene
was a way to evolve in my music making. I was never a whole lot involved
in that either, but I got some good experiences from getting into the tracking
    scene.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Off and on. I make a few surprise releases now and then, but I don't stay
up to date with what's new.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Old friends! Get in touch will ya?! It's sad to lose touch, and writing
doesn't take much. Lol, now that sounded corny. Well, tada!
