C64 - playing, some basic gfx Amiga 500 - playing, doing gfx with DPaint and music in Protracker PC (earlier) - music with Fastracker2, coding in assembly/C/Pascal PC (now) - music with Buzz/Cubase, gfx with Photoshop, C/C++/PHP coding I started doing gfx first, then I became a musician, and I code now for a living! :) The old Soundtracker and a bit later Protracker on the Amiga, Fastracker 2 on PC in the DOS era, and now Buzz tracker and Cubase on Windows. Damn, hard question :) Symphony of Sickness, probably, but I guess you don't know it, coz it was never released. Well, maybe I'll upload all my tunes to Nectarine one day :) Not really :) It can completely ruin the production, or add some new exciting dimensions to it. I think that code, music and gfx are equally important. Maybe music and gfx being equal and a bit more important than code. Yes, semi-professional (I'm doing electro stuff for a nu metal band) and leisure purposes. I think it's great, that we have more possibilities now than in the past. In my opinion, only the end product, the music counts, not the format. Condom Corruption by Travolta/Spaceballs (from State of the Art) All tunes by Audiomonster Chorus & Sid tunes (yes, they were Majic 12 members as well :)) The tune from fr-08 - the product No, no remastered tunes, I think. If I'll do a new CD (and I think, I will), I'm gonna use everything that todays technology allows, and I'll start totally new tunes. Frank Zappa, Mr.Bungle, Estradasphere, Fear Factory, Slayer, Juno Reactor, Trilok Gurtu, Marty Friedman, Raunchy, Paradise Lost, The Prodigy, Moonspell, Kraftwerk, Rammstein, Apocalyptica etc... Well, it's no exaggeration to say that my C64 and later the Amiga has thoroughly changed my life and has been a very strong influence during my childhood. Basically, had I not owned my first two computers, I wouldn't be there where I am now. So I'm a Commodore/demo freak for ever :) Currently, I'm a happy owner of a real C64, Amiga 1200 and an Amiga 4000, beside my work PC. No, not in the scene anymore. I would like to hear, for what kind of project are you seeking musicians. So some information about you're project would be welcome :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2005 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
