  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?
  • Good question.
I think my interrested start when my father bought me a ZX81.
It was really hard to load games or programs in it, but the proud was higher !
Then i meet the Amiga and it posibility of creation. It was dream.
A friend show me "Nebulus" and "Soundtracker"

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?
  • ZX-81 - Games&basic programs
Amiga 500 - Music and games
    Amiga 1200 - Music, 3D, games

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?
  • I try to understand 68000 instruction without success :-(
I just reach to do a circle with deluxe paint ;-)
and i'm in love with music, so...no choice !

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?
  • Hem...well i try many (Sidmon, Soudmon, Jamcracker, Octamed...) but still continue to love Protraker 4.3b
THX is so cool, easy too !

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?
  • No one.
My goal was reach when i played keyboard in a band.
Anyway my favorite song is "icarus dream suite"

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?
  • A lot. And not a one. Every tune i composed is a part of me. Sometimes you're just laughing at what you did a
year ago but it is just that you grown up.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?
  • The same as design and good code !
An awesome is just a music than perfectly goes with the demo. That stick to the ambience.
But for me, a music as not to be agressiv all the time, just because the demo/game is agressiv.
I was really bored by all those demo with hard core techno music...yeerk...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?
  • Just playing for my pleasure on my own or with my friend Monty.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?
  • If you mean for the type "MP3", "WAV", "MIDI"...
Well, midi is a good format to do some tune that a lot of friends can hear without taking a lot a place.
But it is really to restricted.
MP3 is da good one ! You can share and spread high quality music you've just done with all your synths.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?
  • Too hard...and too many
Klisje pas Cliche from Walkman, for exe

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?
  • Not really remastered music, but that's an old wish to redo some good music with real instrument.
Which musician didn't dream of that !
Anyway i just realized some demo tape with my ex-band group. Maybe i'll put them in MP3 on a web site
    when i take litle time.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?
  • Too many in too many style.
To give you some names, i'm god damn fan of Dream Theater, Cynic, Gordian Knot, Steve Ray Vaughan, Rachmaninov

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?
  • A lot of fun, what else ?
Some old good friends (i lived 3 years in the same house with my friend Monty.
A friend i really meat through Amiga)
And always competition to do better and better.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?
  • Nop. I'm too old ;-)
