  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Probably 1987 when I got my first computer.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Atari 2600 : Gaming
    Superbrain: Basic Programming
Sharp MZ700 : Programming (simple basic stuff)
    MSX 1 : gaming & simple programming
    MSX 2 : gaming & simple programming
    C64 : Pixeling - gaming
    Amiga 500 : Pixeling, music
    Amiga 2000: Pixeling, music
    Amiga 1200: Pixeling, music
PC : graphical design, 3d animation, flash, video-manipulation

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Actually I WAS a pixeler and did music next to it. I made about 200 mods in
whole my life and only 2 got used in very tiny intro's. I made about tons of
pictures, fonts, logo's, etc. and all got used in relativily big productions.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker (amiga), Fasttracker (pc) - NONE else

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None of them. Reaching a goal is like getting to the end-station when you're
on a trip. The best is to never to reach a goal because then there is always
    something you can do better.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Bomb of luck - The Party compotune. It SUXXXX!

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is 60% of the total impression a person gets. A good tune can lift a
demo, even when it's a very bad one.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • No. Only sometimes I play around in fasttracker. I haven't saved anything
    since three years.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Mwoh... I rather buy a CD with some real intruments.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Naming tunes is hard. I do like Heatbeat's music a lot. Timeless as they are.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. There are so many better musicians that deserve that more than I do.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Jeff Buckley, Ben folds Five, Green Lizard, Soulwax.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • My girlfriend (Finnish) I got to know her via an scene friend.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No. I actually don't really follow the scene these days.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greets to all old and new Amiga-ers...
