So I began to check out most music packages that came out, and then I discovered the Deluxe Music (and learned by myself how music notes are written), Sound/Noise/Pro/-tracker, and my music talent grew and developed thanks to these progs (It was when I was 15-19yrs here) In order of chronology: * Aegis sonix ** Deluxe Music construction Set (1) Sound Tracker ** Noise tracker ***** PRO-Tracker 2.x then 3.x Octamed ***** Music-X V2.0 * of particular use (the more *, the more used) A module called "Programmed to trance" it was played on a local radio station (my first success:), and it was selected and put in a amiga magazine cover disk (was it CU amiga?!). Hmmm.... nope Music/sound is the pleasure of the 2nd most important human biological sense, so it is very important to be present in any source of attraction/entertainment such as games and demos. However it must be in harmony and sentiment with the game or demo. For example it does not m ake sense to place a sorrowful minorstring-tune in a happyending scene! Yes, for leisure, but aiming to get professional (soon!) These are all modern music file formats brought about by the latest technology. Everything has to adopt itself with the developing technology to remain part of the world, and these file formats are the fruit of the presentation and source of modern music. Each have there uses and advantages in our society. I have no time to think about, but in m y mind came the Highscore tune of the game Commando. I adore most of david whittakers sounds too, Speedball, Quadralaien, Menace, Shadow of the beast, etc.) I think so... I am into techno stuff, and my favourites are Joey Beltram, PlastiKman, Planetary assault systems, Johannes Heil. But on the other face of the coin I love relaxing music (Vangelis) and classical music (the russian ones!) It gave me a continous challenge in my life and that on its own is important considering the problem of drug abuse due to lack of interess in life. It gave me a lot considering that to be part of the scene I learned how to compose music, rip music, draw graphics, code assembly language, write letters in good english :) and lots of these things which you can do only on an Amiga and its wonderful (ex-)scene Nope, I lastly was with Synergy (UK) but they swapped to PC now, as everyone else. Wish to be with an AMIGA scene group if there are any left now :-( ex-members of Aphids (all from malta) ex-members of Infect (especially to Turbo and Marley the exotic rippers) members of synergy (still alive you two!)
