  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • About 9 yrs of age. Programming at first. I was soo tired of music coz
i was in a "musical school" and hated music and all the
freakin teachers. At home my mam had private lessons on the piano.
It was all too much. Just closed my door to my room for a nice quiet
    time for myself...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64, 128D, Amiga 500, Amiga 2000.
I mostly had them as complementary sex machines... What the f*k did u think
i was doing?! I am a computer nerd!:)
I started to compose on the Amiga, about 14-15 yrs of age.
Before that - it was all gaming & programming.
I didnt like the sound on C64.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Coz nothing is more satisfying than making music, i really love it.
(..And im not good at all on programming or gfx, so... Music it just had to be.)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • GOsh... Today im 30, getting more senile for every day, and you want me to
remember things for about 15-20 yrs ago?! Oh...mmm, i think it was fasttracker
when it was first released. I remember soundtracker 1.1 (?!) and my first
alcotini stereo sampler. Oh what a rush. mmm, Now you made me remember the old
times and getting me sentimental, naughty you! I have to get a drink, brb.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None of them all, im still searching. Those listed on this site is the worst
    of them all i think.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • RIght now it has to be Boottune, coz i see its on the top 100 at your site, and
i dont want to be remembered in the future with that song when they download it.
"Hey - remember this? Its from that guy - gahn! Noo?... dont remember? Neither do i.."
"Lets skip it, go to next song!"
ANd yes another tune! THat darn guy from .. gosh dont remember...shit..
it was from a very famous group... anyway, you stoled my tune and changed
some of the instruments!! You were more famous than me so i just sat down and was quiet.
But i have evidence and vittnesses. (If you buy me a beer then ill make no charges)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Oh, its about 60-70% i think. At least. It creates the "mooods" of the game,
a really good game tune is one you remember. A tune which is 1 minute long and
repeating, thats the worst. ..hey, Yepp! I remember! I did that! oh yea...
it was 1 minute long for a game called "Pick a Brick" released from noxious.
But fortunately, you could turn off the music by a fastkey. Lucky players.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Oh yes sir. Still composing, still 14 yrs of age sometimes, jumping around
with my earphones digging to a good rythm or melody. Its mostly for myself.
Did some try and made a tv jingel and some minor things.
I told myself when i was 15 that i would make a try for CD when im 20.
When 20, i told myself to put some effort in it and had goal for 25.
Now im 30 - have no further goal. Maybe when im a couple of hundred years old
someone will find my tapes in my basement. And use them in low budget movies or
    pornos.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Midi, wave = today? Haha, eeh... well, you must mean mpegs compression methods and
resolutions?! Thats a cool thing of our time brilliant heros in mathematics.
The quality is a bit better, but a philosophical question: "Does that make the song better in
terms of you like it more than before"?

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Oh, Theres a bunch.
klisje_paa_klisje (intelligent made music with good samples of that time)
Cream of the earth (Just the timing when i sat there, quiet and just enjoyed the demo)
The list is long, but as everyone else its 4-mat, awesome, romeo knight who
is at the top in the charts.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Ill anwser that as a lemmings sound crashing down: "Oh noh!!"
I want to compile a couple of Cds on those things i made in the past 5 yrs,
    not older than that.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Mmm, everyone that has a good melody and is well harmonized.
I really like to go on the dancefloor and kick some butts, so its all from
todays disco-era to beatles, hardrock and Jarre...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Oh, just my childhood, my hidden self confidence (tell me if you find it!).
-"A memory i wont sell for any price in the world!"

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope. Just a floater-around-thingy which telling bedtime storys
to youngsters ill meet who is part of it.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I want to greet all who knows me!
I dont have contact with a single one from those days and that ill regret much.

I have a lot of memories but i have forgot some of the handles that was used.

    Keep on rockin guys!
