  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My interest for computers started somewhere 1979 i think, that was the first
time i saw a Vectrex console in a shop and someone was playing a game called
Minestorm, the game looked so cool

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My first real computer was the commodore vic-20, only for gaming,

2nd computer was the Commodore 64 also for gaming and a little bit of
    programming.

3rd computer was an Amiga A-500, playing games and later i discovered a music
program called soundtracker and later protracker,

4th computer was an Amiga A-3000, i used this computer mainly for music and
    copying SNES games

5th p1 150mhz, playing online games and surfing the internet

6th p2 550mhz, burning cd`s like hell, playing online games, downloading
    music etc..

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • programming is not my thing, drawing on a computer is boring, so making music
was the only thing left ;-p

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker
Protracker 1.1b (the best Music tracker on this globe)
    Fasttracker 2

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think the last tune i ever made on the Amiga somewhere in 95, a tune called:
The jazzy dutchman. It was never released on the Amiga, it's a nice tune with
a slamming beatloop, i think it sounds great.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Some of my fist tunes made with soundtracker sound really bad.
I dont have them anymore, i burned the disks in random order ;)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is a very important thing in a demo/game, if the music sucks the demo/game
is boring. When you watch a movie without sound it's no fun, in demos and games
    its the same thing.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • When i'm in the mood i make some patterns in fasttracker, nothing more then that.
Maybe when i have more time and inspiration, i'm gonna pick up my old hobby again.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Most music formats are great, but i got never used to midi tunes, my ye olde
yamaha keyboard has midi also, but i never got it work 100%. And the tunes
that worked with midi sounds bad.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • In random order:

    banana split (dizzy)
    sloom (hein)
    knullakuk (moby)
    can't be (hein)
    oberheim power (emax)
    dubbiedew (hein)
    mega apocalypse (Rob Hubbard)
    thrust (Rob Hubbard)
    nebulus (audiomonster)
    rambo (Martin Galway)
    green beret (Martin Galway)
    out of silence (Jogeir Liljedahl)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Roachford, Eagly eye cherry, Seal ,moby ,doe maar ,U2

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Lots of contacts, computer crashes, virusses, headaches, and great fun

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No not in the demo/music scene anymore.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I want to say hi to all the people i know from the old Amiga demo scene back in
the 90's. especialy to: Coyote (desire), Crackerjack (Axis), Roxis (Axis),
Junkfood (Royal Amiga Force) and i want to thank A.M.P. for keeping the music
    scene alive and kicking.
