Date of birth: 07-10-1978 Ouch... I think it was 1985 or '86; I loved playing Ghostbusters and Pole Position on my dad's C64! Commodore 64: Played games and programmed in basic. Amiga 500/1200: Programming demos & intros for various groups (Facet's Pussy, Desire & Essence, to name a few) and also created a small music module now and then, just for fun. PC: Just using it for my work... I always loved (making) music. I've been playing guitar since my 8th birthday and never stopped doing it. When I've got nothing to do I use keys or something else which is in my reach to create a rhythm. I'm also a DJ and have been so at some Dutch discotheques. ProTracker ofcourse... I think it was version 2.2 which I always used ;) I really don't know! Actually, I don't have any of my music anymore! I've lost al my floppy disks when moving to another house. Most of 'em probably. But hey, I was a programmer, not a musician :) It creates atmosphere. The music can either make or brake the product, being a demo or a game. If the game has stunning graphics and great playability but horrible sound effects & music, no-one will like it. Not at all! I'm a Java Consultant for a big European internet firm. It's lost it's "romance". 4 channel mod's had a special feeling to them. Everyone had to cope with just 4 channels which sometimes had an amazing result. Nowadays, there are no limits anymore, which is a pity. Jogeir Liljedahl - Love Heatbeat - ehh.. the tune from Full Moon Dizzy - the tune with the Axel F beginning. Can't remember it's name, sorry. Not at all! Various kind of music: Jamiroquai Paul van Dyk Kane It gave me a great hobby for about 5/6 years. I made a lot of friends, travelled through Europe and gave me a lot of programming experience, which I still use nowadays. No. Oh well, let's just greet some names I remember: Noodle, Facet, Nao, Astro, Dope, Zinko, Mop, Grace and all the rest which I really can't remember at the moment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2001 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
