Mad Freak, Starmaster, Julius. Group: Legion (ahhh them were the days), Did some stuff with some swedish guys (uhh i loooove those swedish guys) can't remember the group name, and then came anarchy, lemon, polka and last but not least "AeosB" da ultimate porn leechers. Date of birth: 07/06/1973 Don't remember. A friend of mine got one and i thought they were cool. They could do all sorts of stuff that you couldn't do in real life. (funny how things change) C-16 (in the bin), C64 (in the bin), Amiga (not quite in the bin), Pc (want to throw it in the bin "sometimes") Music seemed to be the easiest thing to do and I have allways been intereted in music from a very young age (blah blah blah) Im sooooo special. I was born with a piano on my head and because i couldn't get it off i started playing it. Its notes resonating in my brain giving me a clear insight into the meaning of life. And that is what i try to comunicate thru my music. Soundtracker, protracker, Octamed, Cakewalk, cubase. I mostly use cakewalk nowadays. I must admit that i don't really have a goal. When i finished my first piece of music i felt i had reached the goal of finishing my first piece of music. And the same thought crossed my mind when i finished the second one but the goal was this time more focused on finishing my second piece of music. Sometimes (in the late evenings when sitting on the porch with a glass of lemonade) I think back, shed a tear and go "yeah, I did reach my goal of finishing my music back then" Probably the majority of my amiga music, as it was only shameless copying of rhytms, chord stuctures and melodies that had been done to death. I did what loads of other people did. But wow did it make me feel good. Still doing the same lark thou soo who am I to say anything. Games: In a game it is really good for enhancing a mood/feeling pretty much like a movie except that you don't always know precisely when the next "cue" is gonna be. hink of the blue pixel in the the top of the screen. Where did it come from and what does it sound like? And when you have a big "name" band in the game the marketing "value" is pretty high. I work for a games company in dublin doing music and sfx. I try to do some stuff at home but often it all falls apart and i start to cry. Music is music (ohh how pretensious is that) so if it sounds good it sounds good. And the goodness level depends for me on the music and not its format. Sometimes it might be a sound, sometimes the structure and sometimes it something else or a combination of different elements. it can also be the situation that makes me like it. Wunderwerk by Melankolik Naked love by James Wrath Teknique by Lasse Louhento Mystical dreams by Ben Hughes (remixed by Klaustofobi) Nope. I listen to pretty much everything there is. But i must admnit that i don't listen to music that often. I love Finish polka and baseball jingles. A chance to talk to other people that did the same thing as i did and also other people that didn't do the same thing but did something else that also involved a computer. nope. Nothing really except: Greetings to: L33t RuL3Z Inc. Mr. Mega Power Go wit da flow (1999 comeback-tro ruled with a vengance) Disco Monkeys Vs Da Mob Crew And to all you kids out there: May da scene stay strong and live super long, yeaaaah. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2001 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
