  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • well, I started just before 90's. Everything started the day I looked for a
computer. Yes, I am one of that lucky boys that started with an amiga as first
computer (and next I tried to use some amstrad 6128 and pc 286 just for fun...).
How I did it ? I came to my best friend's home to see his amiga running shadow
of the beast, after burner and kickoff 1... : thanks to ooops/arkham and
realized it was an amazing things to me. I decided to get one... It was the
best thing ever done for me... I selected the marvelous amiga. And I still find
it as the best OS. I choosed to keep "killer" as my nickname because I was not
very bad... in skateboarding and some friends called me like this...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I tried some basic on some very old philips computers at school but.. I've
always wanted to work and to be in computer things.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I wanted to start demos because of some friends on Atari I think... because I
loved amiga demo, and the amiga movement. So we formed our crew which was
called : Progenyx and later we mixed it with Argonaut's EASY(Tony) crew to
    create ARKHAM.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker, Protracker, Fast Tracker.
But I tried a lot of trackers of course. The best for me is still Protracker V2!
Today I still use Fastracker and I've won a music contest at BZH next year (2001)
with the famous Soundracker under Linux. Yes it's done and it works very fine !!!
I use Cool Edit for cutting my Loop and beat or to create new sounds.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • this is such a big question... I don't know. Maybe the one about ARTOAX/HYDROXID
:) it was so fun to sing it during some parties and it still makes me smile a
    lot :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yes... A tune A gived to my friend SNAP/AKM during a saturn compo... it was
ranked 9 :)= and the one I worked a lot was not selected...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Fast or slow, a music must be played in the same way as the demo goes. It might
be fast or slow : it depends of the effect or the moment during a demo or a
game... Jester/sanity was very good for that! The disco style or the State of
the Art tune-like are very amazing. Anyway, if a tune give you the need to dance,
    then it's a nice tune :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am not composing anymore but sometimes... I launch fastracker. Maybe soon
I'll try to practice it again. But it'll be for fun and just for trying some
    Trip-Hop sounds.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I still prefer to have delitracker's (i386) or modplug player running originals
sounds and I am an addicted geek of nectarine. I don't really love MP3 (which
contains Fasttracker things) because it's not a real module playing... Anyway,
mp3 is not a bad thing for music lover like me. I still don't love midi things
and I prefer pure sound card playing. In any case, the smaller it is, the best
    it goes.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Lizardking powa :) :) :)
    Jester's
    Laxity's
    Jogeir powa :) :) :)
    Nuke's
    4mat's
    moby's "elmobo" (lol :) :) )
and many more from MON project...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • not from my old tune... But I'll create new ones with Trip Hop feelings...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Dj Krush, Dj CAM, Dj Kick's, Dj Shadow, Nectarine radio, and some Hip hop Radio
(I have DJ-Turn-Tables too :) ), some house and some techno dream sometimes.
And recently, I used to love some POP rock.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Some wonderfullllll SID and Soundmon sounds I love to collect. I love C64
sounds!!!! When I heard a tune I want to launch fasttracker again... Yes I
    am addicted !

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not really. But I'm still looking for old friends... and why not having fun to
try it again :) come on join me on a chat at fr.undernet.org or irc.epiknet.org
at #linu-z channels I am interesting in Linux scene too :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • yes :> Lets send some hot chips to : ARKHAM survivors, INTENSE crew,
Ninja/SCX, some guyz in BOMB, some old ex-Atari people, some new IRC friend
and linux team mates. I would like to thanks EASY and KEM, ARTOAX, TECH DESIGN,
Jeremy LATYL, SILICON and PierriK, to be online with me :) it's so nice to chat
about old time. Specials helloes to SNAP aka DJ SLY and so on... like people
of my Linu-z project community. Really thanks to that french Nectarine crew.
I love you guyz!!!! (P.S. : yes LATYL, we'll make it soon possible)

And last but not least, a particular thanks to my best friend Spootnic (ooops)
for loving the same things as/like me : dancing, triphop, supporting, amiga
sounds, playing kickoff, having fun with FIFA and trying that new KICK OFF 2002
game on PC !!! Thanks Nicolas. Let's keep the fun and more.

See ya all and don't hesitate to join me. You'll be welcome to share :)
Thanks to crown/cryptoburners for his good work.
