    Date of birth: Oct 3 - 1951

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I think it was in 1983 or 84.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore 64 - Amiga 500 - Amiga 1200 - PC
I composed music, played games, I copied 1000s of disks..swapped.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I have always loved music. When i was a boy at the age of about 11 years old,
I bought a wooden flute, played on it. And at the age of 15 I bought a guitar,
learned how to play it can composed music on it. Then there was no hard barrier
to cross when the computer came to life almost 20 years afterwards. It was
just exciting to see and listen to what you could make with some sound samples
    on the computer.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I have been useing "Music shop" But particular "ProTracker"

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Wow! That was a difficult question. Maybe with "Fight On" or "Spine".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The value of music in a game or a demo is to create a special atmosfere that
suits to the game or demo.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am not composing for the moment. It's been 5-6 years since last time, but
I might do it again soon, but only for leisure purposes. But if I got an
offer, I might be doing it for professional purpose :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • The different formats have good sound quality compared to the 8-bits modules
that was common 10 years ago. There is a special "sound" on the amiga modules
that you can't get on the other formats. The modern formats like mpeg, wave
etc. is at least 16 bits and has a cleaner sound and isn't it a progress,
    the future?

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I have one big favourite composer : Dr.Awesome.

Many of his tunes are my favourites like: Moongazer, Andante and Space Deliria

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, I have not any plans in the nearest future of making an audio cd
remastered, because I don't have the equipment to do it. But I would like to
    do it!!

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Bands: Dire Straits, Hjerterknekt..and old bands like ELO, Hoola Bandoola Band..

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • The amiga and c64 scene gave me a lots of fun and experience that I will not
have been without. It became a part of my life.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I cannot say that I am active today, since my group is not special active
anymore, maybe except from one member in Holland. But we don't act as a group
anymore, more like individuals. But I have never quit The Magic Guild, so I
might say that I am the leader today.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I want to greet to all the persons that took part in the c64 and the Amiga
scene! You made history! It's a time that will never come back. Greets to
Bjorn A. Lynne (Dr. Awesome), Rokdazone (Henning Brau), Ziaxx
(Easton..Michael Lundvall), and many of my good contacts over the years
throughout the world. I don't remember all.

And thank you for letting me have this interview and that you still have
    interest of the scene.
