  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I got my first C64 when I was 10 years old, around 1985, so that was
    when I started using computers.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I have own a C64, an A500 and an A1200. I started out making music
on the C64 when I was about 12 years old, using Rockmonitor 4. It was
great fun although I wasn't on the scene then.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well, I think that it is more fun making music than coding, although I
    was also a coder.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I used mostly Protracker on the Amiga.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think that I slowly quit making modules after The Party 1994,
when I ended up 11th with Island Of Sadness. It was a great feeling
even to be among the modules played at the biggest party of all.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Too many :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music is, ofcourse, very important. A good demo always has great music
    synced to the design.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Well, not actually, although I work at a game developing company as a
programmer, and we have discussed that I should make music for some game.
But I recently got a copy of the windows version of Octamed which looks very
promising, so maybe I will start tracking again.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • It is not the same, because it simply isn't tracked. Although that doesn't
mean that it sucks. (Well, midi sucks... :))

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I like the old Tip/Mantronix styles, like the Enigma module. And ofcourse
Moby's modules. There are a lot of great modules, and there are a lot of
    great composers.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. I don't think anyone would want it :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Mostly heavy/death metal, but I also enjoy Sash!, Antiloop etc... I
can say one thing: MP3 rules.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It was great fun, and I spent most of my sparetime for 7 years doing
scene related stuff, like Packdisk menus, trainer menus, intros, dentros,
demos. And ofcourse alot of modules. And I don't regret one single minute
of it. If it wasn't for the scene, I wouldn't be working as a games
programmer now, making alot of money just having fun :). And ofcourse I
met alot of friends and made some enemys.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, I can't say that I am. I stopped most of my scene-activities after
winning the Remedy'97 demo-compo for Rebels. And there is simply not any
time anymore for the scene. I'm getting old :(
Although I made a little Java-demo togheter with an old amiga-associate,
Randy, for the Ram Jam label, which ended up 3rd at TP7.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I would like to greet all the people I met during the years, also under
my early years as Jammaster, and Syce. Special greets to Payday (whom I
always was in the same group as), OYISE, Orgasmatron, Kama and the rest
of X-Trade Sweden, ACBS & Randy/Ram Jam. Some fuckings must go to the
organizers of Assembly'96, and the members of the jury, especially
EYE-Q/Sonic Clique who is the biggest lamer ever. I am just very glad
that I beat them at TP7 Java-compo. That was payback!
