  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Uh.. some time in the mid-70's, after visiting my dad at work and
learning a little about Basic on a weirdo computer they had there.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Before I had my own I played with machines like the ABC80. First
computer was the Texas Instruments TI99/4A, followed by C64 and later
an A500 and A4000. That continued on until '94 or so, when commodore
gave up. I was working for Scala at the time - even had Jeff Porter
as my boss :) After that I moved to PC and never looked back.
No more Amigas ever, and I'm happy with that. I think it's utterly
stupid to watch all the people who still try to keep the machine
alive, making new hardware and os.. etc.. just got to laugh :)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • You obviously made this interview for musicians, not coders. But I was
mainly a coder, and making music was just a little extra thing that I did.
Because, I was after all, making software to make music with and my brother
    was the "musician".

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Well, I wrote Protracker, so at that time it's what I used. There
were some other programs that we never finished, like Berimbau, but
    it was never finished.
Nowadays it's mostly Logic, but I don't use it much any more... not after
evil Apple (hate, hate) bought emagic and changed everything.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I never reached any goal.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I no longer see the point in making a "demo", but for games, music and
sound effects make half the game.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Sometimes, only for fun.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Eh? That's file formats. Well, mp3 is great man :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I really couldn't.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Hmm, anything that's japanese. Yoko Kanno in particular.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It was fun while it lasted. I have lots of good memories from those years.
But it's over now.. come on, say after me: it is over!!! no more, gone :)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • yoshi, owatta! :)
