  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I was running away from home just to play games on a c64. When i was
little (7 years or so). Then my dad bought me an atari 2600 console,
followed by a c64 which was the machine that taught me basic programming.
Since then ive been very interested in computers.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • atari2600 - play games
c64 - play games, program basic, draw in koalapaint :)
amiga500 - play games, make gfx and program amos basic.
amiga1200 - scene stuff, coding, making music, making graphics.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • well, Im still doing all of it. Mostly coding these days. so :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker, Octamed Sound Studio (particularly this one) and now fruityloops3.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • med.Risikovogna is the tune im the most happy with. Since it got a lot
of nice melodies and theres a good balance between the parts. Makes for
    many takeoffs. :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • My first tune. I hadnt figured out how to make several patterns run in
succession yet. And i didnt have ears for music back then either. :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • demo = 50%
    game = 10%

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Composing for fun when I have the time for it.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Modern sound tools are becoming more available to the public and makes for
a more professional sound on most tunes these days, but it doesnt mean that
the harmonies and melodies sound more catchy than before. :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • dream off.mod - on the cracktro to pinball dreams i think. great.
austin powers.mod - by muffler (hardcore drumnbass sounding good in 4ch).
lastninja1 and 2.sid - by matt grey. Absolutely rules.
    concrete.mod - by zixaq&frequent/ephidrena. kick ass demotune.
33.mp3 - Harry kyllonen. Awesome tune for nahkolors 33 demo.
    + many more :)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Ive done so. Just for myself. And Ive also made my favourite songs into mp3.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Squarepusher, aphex twin, general levy, radiohead, shpongle, brothom states.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Well its a band of great friends. I have some awesome memories from partying
around europe. Im still going, but i feel that people are losing their
    competitive spirit these days.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes. together with my group we made 9 quality prods on amiga last year. And
one demo so far this year. (school) :) Planning to do some stuff on pc also
    in a while.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I want to greet all my friends in the amiga scene from 1995 and upwards. :)
Lets hope you'll remain creative for many years now, in the scene or
somewhere else. Dont lose out to the boring moneypraising culture raging the
earth in full scale these days.
