  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My interest for computers started back in 1993.
I was fascinated by games like Turrican ans especially in
the great music the game had.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My first computer was an Amiga 600. With this small equipment i started
in 1993/94 to compose my first Amiga Modules. At the beginning i also
loved to play games like Turrican, Jim Power and the great Pinball games.
Later on i bought an Amiga 1200 with harddisc and started to compose
    weekly mods.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I decided to make music because in my opinion making music seemed to be
    easier.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I have ever composed my tracks with Octamed Pro and after finishing them i
saved them in the popular Protracker Mod format.
In my opinion Octamed Pro is the better tracker program (compared to
    Protracker).

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • In my opinion my best module is "holidays in march" which i think
is the best ambient / discmag module i have made.
Zerox the discmag producer think that 'Sometimes again' is my best. :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • All modules are made only for fun. So there`s no mod i would not like
    to remember.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music is beside a overall good design and great coding, the
music. Without the right music there can`t be a real "demo feeling" -
if you know what i mean. if you have a look back at one of the best
demos on the amiga like the sanity demo "arte" you will also remeber
the great music from moby not only the cool effects and the nice graphics.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I am producing today only professional music with Cubase VST, some midi
equipment and software synthesizers. My last production was a track for the
Siemens project "Digital-ID". Interested people can download these production
    from www.dig-id.de

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think that the technology today gives every people on this world the
chance to produce tracks in professional quality. Today`s computer musicians
can produce music tracks in high quality with only one pc and an average
soundcard. It`s amazing if you compare the possibilities of today with the
    possibilities back in 1994.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hmm, of course my favourite module is "Guitar Slinger" from Jogeir.
I love all Jogeir tracks. I was also a great fan of modules from Chromag, Dizzy,
Vinnie, Mr. Man, Chorus & Sid, Radix, Dune.. and lot`s of others.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • If you are meaning my scene protracker modules, of course not.
But i have released 4 records (vinyl), 3 full length cd`s and 2 maxi cd`s.
Today i only producing professional music like trance, techno, house but
from time to time also some ambient tracks.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I am listening to near all kinds of music like techno, house, drum'n'bass
and also to triphop or chillout. If there`s a good pop cd it`s also ok for me.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It was a nice time. I had lot`s of swapping contacts all of the world and
this time is good to remember.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No. But maybe some people think i am active because my mods are used
today in some haujobb productions like the last 64kb intro "tetsuo 3".
but i am out of the scene business.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I would like to thank all the people who have supported me in
my active time. Most of my contacts were from poland, so a big
'thank you' to all polish sceners.

I would also like to thank my good norwegian friend aztec and
of course all sector 7 members.
