  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It's all started back in 1987 when some of friends had bought themself a
Commodore 64, and two years later, I bought one too..

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I've had Commodore 64, 2xAmiga 500, Amiga 1200(Which I still have!:) and now a
PeeCee. When I had the Commodore 64 I almost only used it for games. But, I
also had some demos and intros, which I liked to watch. I don't open my eyes
for music before I bought my first Amiga 500. But, then in 1991 I really took
off. :) And after that it's always been music. I never used my Amigas to play
    games, only demos and intros.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I've always loved listening to music. I don't know why I picked music, but I
know one thing for sure, I hated coding. I've tried it a few times. Numbers,
numbers and even more numbers. GFx? Hehe.. Yeah right, me paiting pictures. I
    can't imageing it... Hehe..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I've used Protracker mostly.. Version 3.18 :) I think that version is the best
one. I still use that version to compose my chiptunes. When I started to
compose I used Noisetracker, but after a while I got a demoversion of
Protracker on a CU Amiga disc I think. Hehe, and after that I've always used
Protacker.. Not the demoversion :) In the PeeCee I've used Fasttracker 2 and
Buzz. Nothing compared to Protracker. :)

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm, hard to tell.. Maybe the module called Lost Dreams. I've made it back in
1994. I made that tune for the music-competition at 'The Gathering 94'. I used
a lot of time finishing it and, I really liked the result. :) (At that time..
Now it suxx.. Hehe..) After that tune I've always (almost) liked the tunes
    I've done.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • The first one I made. Called 'Kling Kokkos' ... Blah! It don't have rythem. It
don't have a real melody. It's just crap. I suppose that's why I want to
    forget it.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I think it's everything. Without the music in a demo, it's boring. In a game
you can survive without the music. But, then the soundeffects have to be
stunning. And, this days, they usually are.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, I'm still composing. Right now, I've just finished a tune for Jurassic
Pack. Hopefully they'll use it. Now professional jobs yet.. :( But, maybe some
    day.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Some of them are great. But, some not.. As it was before with mods.. The plus
is that you can use more then 4chs.. Hmm, or maybe that's not so positive. ?? :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Favourite tunes? Hmm.. Let's see.. Behind the walls - Martin Wall
    Desert Dream (Introtune) - Laxity

I can go on and on. I've got so many great favourites, but can't take them all
here. I can mention some great musicians: Heatbeat, Jester, Dr.Awsome,
Lizardking, Jesper Kyd, Jogeir and ofcourse all the ones who make/made
    chiptunes.. I love chiptunes.. :)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Well, I've already made an audio CD, called 'amAZEing'. I've also done a single
called 'Twisted'. The album includes, 12 tracks in the Industral Trance
direction. You all can order it from me.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I'm listening to all kind of music..

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It gives me a lot. Great friendship with other of sceners. Many years of fun...
And, it gave me Digital Chips (my chippack) and it gave me my CD-album. Without
the involving in the scene, I had never released the CD.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, I'm still active in the scene. Releasing my chippack called Digital Chips
and making music for diskmags and other productions..

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • All the friends I got in the scene, and had.. Keep up the great work.

    Please buy my CD.

Keep up loving Digital Chips... :)
