Date of birth: 21 December 1969

  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It's approximately at 12 years old that i have started to want to
understand how a Game&Watch game working. I wanted to really understand
how the small squares could move in front of my eyes without understanding
    how.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I have start to buy an Oric Atmos and a ZX8, then after having destruct
all, i bought a MO5 and a TO7. I was very surprise and passionned of the
music, but the sound was really bad on these machines then I passed to
the MSX1, MSX2, MSX2+ and then ST and Amiga. I made especially programming,
because for these computers, you were obliged to make the music by using
    data. :<

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I've made some graphics and code, but as i had 5 years of piano and years
of african percussion behind me, i wanted so much to make noise and destruct
    my parents's ears.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • As I had a KORG M1 i used CUBASE On ST. On Amiga, I arrived just at the
beggining of the first Soundtracker, and then I use all until the arrival
of Protracker. Protrackerwas more interesting because of his keyboard's
    shortcuts.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think that the whole of my pieces of Techno as well as Guitar Time
(introduction music into the sound software of digitalization made by CIS)
and the Rose Rythm (music based only on African percussion) are my musics
which I love so much to listen to.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Not, or maybe those I decided to say: It is finished. For all musicians,
it's very difficult to say that a music is finished. It's like a painter
and his painting : it's nether finished.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a demo the music is the body of the demo's life. It is it which rhythm
the movement, them passages, accelerations. Try to put a classical music
in State of the Art. It is paramount. In games, I think that it must be
before an amibient music with an easy melody to remenber. For example,
after 12 years without having listen to the music of the games " 7 gates of
Jambala " on Amiga or " Maze of Galious " on MSX, I am still able to sing me
the melody. It was not so powerful technically but the melody was
    fantastic to remeber.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, on PC only, but I spend more time to be a Deejay on outside Rave Party
(200 peoples). It's always for fun, not for moneyt. For me to make money
on a gift given by God is to be prostiture huhuhuhhu ( i know that i'm going,
again, to have some ennemies). For the moment I'm not composing so much on
PC cause of differences beetween all soundcards and also because we don't
have a tracker like Protracker on PC.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I think that the music on PC, on demo is crap. Musicians is satisfied only
by digitalizing a piece of CD music . There is only not enough good musician
on PC. It is a shame, I would like to see the same competition as i saw on
    Amiga and good musician.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I don't really have favorites musics. I'm able to listen 50 times musics
from Static on Amiga and i have some moment where I need to find old pieces
modules to listen. I think that it is more nostalgia than favorites.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, I don't have any time and my Amiga is broken down. But I would be ok to
make a music on CD with old Amiga's musicians.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Techno, Dead can Dance, Peter Gabriel, musics from Japanese animation like
City Hunter or Record of lodoss War, FatBoy slim, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • the possibility making friends for my life, enemies also and seeing a lot
of children who did not want to grown up.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not so much, I help musicians on Amiga and PC when i can, give dezign for
some demos, but at 30 years old you must especially work, make children,
play with my Nintendo64 and Playstation and dream to become on the futur
someone like Zelda or Cloud ^_^

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I would like to make a big hello at all my friends who will remember me
and also with my enemies who, today, must think that they were stupid to
    react like this.

    Here small personnal greets:

    - Memorys: Hello crappy choup back castor, the insane deejay!!!
    - Spaceball: Hello to you all, I do not forget you,be sure yagourt.
    - Daryl: after 50 joint, i'm waiting for you.
    - Audiomonster: my large friendly enemy but now my friend i hope. Fight is
    over.

And for all small groups on Amiga that i took so much pleasure has laughter
with them also for those which were too serious and thank you still has those
which will remember me. It's with great pleasure that I make a big kiss for
those which helped me yo sleep in England, give me food in Denmark and for
    all Union, Mad elks members...

Best regards "Still Alive... Saturday night fever baby !!!"
