  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It all happend when I discovered the Commodore 64. I can't remember what year
exactly. But it was in the early years.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My lineup has been: Atari, Intellivision, C64, Amiga500, Amiga 1200, and a
    lot of different PC's.

Ofcorse a lot of gaming. But when the C64 entered the scene I got really
interested in the special C64 sound. But I didn't start to make my own music
untill the Amiga saw the light.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I guess music lies closer to my heart. It's that simple.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • If I recall it right it all started with the original soundtracker. After that
it's been all kind of diffrent trackers like noistracker, fasttracker oktalyser
and so on... I guess it was the fasttracker that became my favorite.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmm... that's a tricky one :-) I did quite a few actually. One fave is called
    "Electric Rain".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Yes I guess the early ones wasn't tha impressive. But they was made during the
learning process of the tracker :-)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I think the music is very important, in cmbination with the rest ofcoz.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I have left the computer music scene but instead I'm doing it on a
professional level in a band called "Paste(swe)"

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • It's not really the same anymore. It was a special feeling with the old
trackers and the sound disks like st-01 and so on.... But everything has to
move on so it's not that bad anyway :-)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • On the C64 I must name Rob Hubbard as my favourite composer with tracks like
"Sanxion" and "Wizard of war". On the Amiga it's really hard to come up with
a number one but why not "checknobankh/desert dream" by Laxity/Kefrens or
"guitar slinger" by Jogier Liljedahl or "It's no secret" by Firefox. There
are so many more that it's almost unfair just to name a few.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Why not :-))

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • My top 3 is:
    1. The Beatles
    2. Depeche Mode
    3. 10cc

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of pleasure and computer experience :-)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sadly not :-(

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • No one special, but I just want to greet everyone that made the scene so
fantastic in the early days. Before the PC came and made us all to gamers :-))
