`n. .rP' `qb ,dP' TLb. ,dMP' all rite, now you get the chance to read TML.dMMP some facts about some of the major amiga ,nmm`XXMPX musicians. read about their history in ,#MP'~~XNXYNXTb. the scene and their plans in future.yes, ,d~' dNNP `YNTb. that's meant to be read while listening to ,~ ,NN' `YNb their modules. read 'em over and over and over.. dNP `Yb. ,NN' `b. · i n t e r v i e w · ___________ ______dP _____________ \ / \ ,N'\____ _____________. _____ \ \_____. ____\ / \___P___/ .\--\__ __/__ |--\____)---\ _____/__ |--\_ \ _/ | | | \ | | \__| | _ \ / | \__| | /\ | | _| | | _l_ | | \ / _l_ | ___| l___/=l___|====l____/===\______|==l______|\ /l___/===\______l____/ \/ Handle: Michael Group: Anathema Date of birth: 9/12/73 It was back in the early to mid 80's when i started playing games like Sanxion, Dragon Lairs part 2, Bruce Lee and so on......I just saw the advertisements for C64 on the Tv and besides that most of my school friends had a C64. There was a battle always between C64 and Spectrum 48k and between Amiga A500 and Atari ST, where Atari Fans use to go on about there built in modulator and built in midi port. Well as you know i had a C64, Megadrive, Amiga A500, Amiga 1200, Snes, 1084 Colour Monitor Philips 8833 Mark 2 Monitor, Playstation 1 and 2 and now a high spec PC. Shame on me to have a PC eh? I just found music to be somethink i was intrested in..Plus, i use to play the Gutar at my school and in my further education i did a course in Music technology and guess who was my teacher (Harry Gregson-Williams. The dude behind Metal gear Solid tunes) Protracker mainly on the Amiga and now cuebase on the Pc. I dont know. i like my Lazertrack modules. Please also note that all Lazertrack modules was composed by myself and NOT projex. We use to credit each other for music even if we never worked on it as partners! However the case was a bit diffrent between me and Technix (Hello chris.....) Well the early ones i did obviously, but who gives a shit.....I like what i did and there is nothing more to say! in a Demo? Nothing! in a game? Very vital to catch/get the right atmosphere Some game music can make you feel like your actually in the game yourself rather than playing the game....Demo music to me is just practise. Most programmers can tie in your music with the objects that are moving. However i would like to add that demos do play a vital role in getting use to diffrents things that are going on. So tunes has to be varied. But hey, dont take it so seriously, your not getting payed for it? The big money lies with games and Film productions. That will be telling eh? Well chip Attack 2 is about to be relased on the PC featuring C64 Modules by Michael and Steven (SPI), including music from games like Hammerfist (All musics by me) What can i say? its the way forward! We cant look back now. technology has moved forward and so does people! But i would honestly say with my hand on heart, that the old skool stuff (C64 and Amiga) is miles better. All these new stuff is over my head basically! I am not intrested! On the C64 has to be Matt Gray, Rob Hubbard, Jonathan Dunn On the Amiga David Whittaker, Tim follin (Without a doubt). Yes i am! Called Illusions and with some original tracks too. Due for a early 2007 release. Sorry, but work is taking up my time. Bands? Hmm? i like my R&B, Hip Hop and Dance stuff. A lot of enjoyment and meeting new friends around the world That will be telling wont it? Well anyone could contact me at this email [email protected] Yes i would like to say hello to all the staff who knows me in the CIS department at Southern trains (Streatham Hill/London), Anthony Putson, Steven (SPI), Curt Cool, Crown, Jason & jonathan Cooper, Nicola Freeman Roache, Jade, Lorna & Chloe, Lee (Steven brother) and anyone else who knows me! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2006 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
