C64 - mainly gaming Amiga - gfx, music, scene PC - music Making music was a mysterious thing for me, I was so proud when I finished a song. I didn't have talent in graphics and coding but I felt a lot of motivation to make music. Noisetracker, then a few of those multichannels but I can't remember their names. I also used the Music-X sequencer before I moved to Cubase. I think my module for the demo Voyage in Storm was all I was capable of in the Amiga times. As I learned the basics of music making modules, the first dozens are a real crap, but I still like to listen to them. Originality and feel. There were a lot of games and demos I liked for their music in the first place. A demo or game can often be over- or undervalued because of its music. Since 1996 I've been playing in bands. I joined my current band in 1999, our second album is on the way, it's going to be released worldwide. I also compose music on synths. Unfortunately I haven't been following the music scene for long. Klisje paa klisje still makes me shiver. I loved Knulla kuk (if that's its real name) from the Quartex demo by Moby. Florence by Audiomonster is also a great piece. I just love everything coming from Dizzy. No, if I make a CD, it will contain my current compositions. Dream Theater, Sting, Morcheeba, Pain of Salvation, Pat Metheny, Symphony X, The Gathering, U2, to name a few. Everything. It made me learn English (my major is English at the university now), made me learn making music (which is a very important part of my life today), and gave me a lot of friends. Not at all. I'd like to greet everyone who has ever contributed to the scene, and also those who keep the spirit alive today. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2003 by crown of cryptoburners ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
