  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Well, I got my first computer when i was about 5-6 years old.. it was VIC 20.
It was back in the 1986-87.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • VIC20,C64,A500,A1200,PC .. at the moment I still got both A1200 and PC in
daily use. With VIC20 I just played some games, but when I got C64 I also
did some basic programs and it was the time I first saw a music program..
it was called Ubik's Musik. When I got a500 back in 1991, I saw tracker
program, and it looked very interesting, so that was the time when I
started making music. At the moment I use PC for more pro-sequencers,
not trackering... But I might do some tracker stuff on my A1200 from
    time to time.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I dunno. It just felt like, this is my thing.. this is what I want to do.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • uuh, well.. on c64 I tried out Ubik's Musik .. then came the amiga trackers
Noisetracker,Protracker etc. I also use MED on amiga (for midi). On PC
my favourite sequencer at the moment is ACID .. really nice one, and powerful
audio sequencer. I have been also using progs like Rebirth or all those stuff
    on pc.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I don't know really...

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • haha, must be some of my most oldest shit.. don't remember names right
now .. Somebody uploaded some of those to amigascne.org .. even I didn't
have those tunes anymore .. weird.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It must be one of the most important things. I mean, you can try it out..
check some demo without music or play some game without music..

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I sure am.. Actually I think composing is (atleast for me) something
that you just can't stop. It's my way to express my feelings.

At the moment I'm working on lot of stuff .. mainly some vinyl releases
on drum&bass labels. Also some remixes and so on. And my debut cd album
just came out on TRSI & FLT Recordz.. check it out and order at:
    www.kentlex.com or www.lynnemusic.com or www.elmobo.com

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, you know modules are history .. There's no really reason to continue
making modules anymore.. I just hope most of the demotunes would be MP3,
instead of mod/xm .. also on amiga ..

Tracker music got it limits, usually you can even hear that if a tune
is made with tracker .. and if there's some idiot saying that there's no
difference with the sound quality in module and studio material, I
recommend you to go and clean the shit out of your ears.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • There are too many ..

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I already did! :) even thought it's not mod/xm stuff just remastered..
But it's all done in the studio with more equipment.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Well, I'm a drum 'n bass freak .. I'm DJing todays a bit too, and so I spend
most of my money for 12" vinyls .. I prefer the darksiders there.. Just to
name few dnb artists: andy c, bad company, trace, ed rush+optical, hype, zinc,
photek, roni size, krust, die etc.

But I sure listen all other kinds of music too, like jazz, ambient etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It gave me a lot, it was really interesting to do music for demos etc.
I was able to release my music somewhere, and get response of what I was
    doing.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, but I don't want to take ANY stress of it.. I just take it easy now.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greets to all LOVEBOAT posse, Scoopex, DCS .. and ofcourse Warhead &
Alex @ TRSI & FLT Recordz. And remember to check out my debut cd-album..
    out now!
