Amiga 500 - Became spare parts for an A2000 Amiga 3000UX - Packed away and it still works Amiga 4000 - See A3000UX Commodore 64 - Gave it away Commodore 128 - I still have it and it works except for the 1571 drive that came with it I have always had an interest in music, I came from a musical background and play a variety of instruments. I had an interest in coding, the problem was that I had nobody to learn from or tell me what tools I required. Protracker and Soundtracker None of them. I think all of my music was basically crap. I learned fairly quickly that I was much better at writing chiptunes and I had more fun with them, my favourite was the tune used in the no shame Cydonia demo. Basically every single one of them :) Music has little or no value if the composition does not fit the demo. No, I play a lot of guitar but that's as far as it goes nowadays. I dont like midi at all and I think most of the reason has to do with the interfaces to write score, PT had such a straight forward interface and it was easy to lay down tracks. Midi doesn't track very well with synth guitar and there are always latency issues. Mpegs and waves used in todays games have their place but they are very expensive memory and storage wise if that format is used for music. My favourite tune is from an old c-64 game called Thing on a Spring. Pretty much every tune from Rob Hubbard and Martin Galway Never, they're not good enough. Steve Morse band, The Dixie Dregs & Dream Theatre. Great memories and friends from all over the world. No, unfortunately. I don't think anybody would remember me :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- please note: this interview is ©opyrighted in 2008 by crown of cryptoburners |
