  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • --

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • In 1985 my brother bought a C-64. I played all the time all the games and
one day he gave me an assambler programm (with a book, can't remember which
one) and i started to programm intros (which where never released). The songs
where stolen all the time until I got a music programm (forgotten the name).
From then i began to make music.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I just made music for fun, coding was my profession!

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I guess the name was Soundtracker or something like that.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • ups...sorry...i don't know... there is a borad called "Uphold the law" in
which all the modules are listed.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • oh...surely a lot. Even the first modules where certainly not the best ones.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • it's obviously the central part of a demo. Accustics can underline gfx
and/or coding parts so imaging a Film without any Sound...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • nope...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • time has changed...guess I'm just an old amiga-sound-vet who passed the new
    time by.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • there were so many sounds that i dont want to prefer one.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • nope

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • my favourite theme is bar-jazz...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • it was a step into the computer life.

When i was busted in 1994 i lost all my computers (i had a BBS called
"Ice Cream BBS") and stopped coding, make music and being in scene.

I have now my own company which is programming software mostly for serverside
    internet projects.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • not realy... you can leave me a "messy" in der BBS "Uphold the law" my
handle ther is "Ramses & Paso"

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • yeahh... like in the old times:

Ramses, Maverick, Stone, Amok, Mr. Rox, PigPen, Pitty, Crux, Magnum, Data,
Vince & Viper, Shut Berlin, Highlander, Skin, Amblin .... most names i
    have forgotten as well ;-)
