  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I think back in 1986 with c64, like in most cases i asked my parents for
a computer, because you can do so much more with it for the school.
mainly it was used for gameing only, as usual ;)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • 1984 : philipps gaming console
    1986 : c64
    1989 : a500
    1992 : a4000
    1998 : pc

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • a500 let you use much more colors and so i began doing some gfx. i got my
first soundtracker and did some mods while i was painting. at the same
time i did some coding in assembler for a500 and did the bistro intro for at
least trsi together with dreamer. i did the color effect ;)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • all kinds of soundtracker, startracker, protracker, and ft2. mainly
    protracker.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • with no one, coz i can't remember that i have finished any module

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • the most ones. they were all done in 15 minutes and 2 or 3 in 30 minutes
which were released by some accident ;)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • start a demo without the soundfeeling, the right atmosphere need the right
    music.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • no, i think i did my last track in 1998 with ft2

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • mp3 is great, i would have loved it, if it would have been possible to
play it correct on a4000 .... anyway the a4000 is my answering machine
    nowadays.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • a lot of romeo knight tunes, some of virgill's tunes, some of mufflers tunes,
some of jazz's tunes. don't ask my for module names!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • hehe, NO, but ... why not ? ;)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • hmmm, to a lot of funbands here in germany, depeche mode (still), haujobb,
    frontline assembly, prodigy etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • a lot of fun over the years and some nice friendly dudes! (and some not
so friendly ...) all in all a time i don't want to miss...

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • well, i try to do something but never find the time. i did some 3d stuff
i would like to finish it someday, coz it really rocks.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • all dudes from the old action crew, all old trsi and all new haujobbers,
    last but not least you
