  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1980 - my 1st BBC Micro

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • At various times owned a BBC, a few 64s, a C128, an Amstrad CPC6128, a couple
of STs, loadsa PCs etc. Most of them still mouldering about somewhere.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • 'Cos I'm a musician :) As it happens, I code as well - did a lot of my own
drivers for PC etc, and I now earn money writing Perl :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Cubase. Always used Steinberg, ever since Pro24 on thge ST.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Huh?

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Many - for all the usual reasons. Ask Rob Hubbard for the full list :)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Extremely important - psychology etc. Well documented in the literature :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes - for both purposes. Not for games these days - did a lot of theatre a
while back, and I write for my bands.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Ermm - they're formats. Makes no difference....I feel the same about them as
    I do about manuscript paper.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Waltz in Db, from 'Domino Theory' by Weather Report.
    Beethoven 5th Symphony.
'U Can't Hold No Groove' by Victor Wooton.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?
  • Chris Abbot does it for me :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • All the same I used to - Jazz funk rock mainly/

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Money, fame, drugs......but no sex.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...
