  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • When I got my first amiga 500 in around 1990, i just couldn't get enough of
the demo's and the big names of the amiga demo scene around that time.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • It started around early 1983, where i discovered the Spectrum 48k, the one
    with the rubber keypad! hehe...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I did try using D-paint on the amiga but it wouldn't click with what i tried
to do and what i wanted to do, so drawing pictures and gfx didn't really
inspire me, the same for coding. I had no patience to code, but with the music
side of things, it gave me a better chance of creating something, either a
basic tune or something to listen to.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I have used all types of packages for the amiga, the first one that i remember
playing around with was Octamed, which seeing 8 channels running at the same
time, but as i slowly moved in the demo scene I was drawn towards the
Protracker, which i still use nowadays... also i have also used AHX from
Abyss, which was called THX, but for the usual legal reasons changed it's
    name.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • When i composed "Revamp" which was a while before the birth of Void, i was
asked to compose a tune for a amiga pack called Kickdown by a group called
Syndrome (RIP), as soon as i heard my tune within one of the best packs of
that era, i was chuffed to bits and then just continued to make music or chip
tunes for packs and various things.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Well, Industrial ??? which i can't remember the last word, it's that bad!

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • About 7/10, it draws the player or viewer into the game/demo, it makes the
    atmosphere of the presentation....

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Well, not composing as much as i have been, but if i do something sometimes
for the odd pack or intro for the group i formed way back in 1995 called
Void... but mainly now just mail trading and organising Void demo group.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • ok, but midi is only the one i can relate to when it comes to protracker
background, mpeg and wave, i haven't had much to do with them, sorry..

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • i can't really remember the tunes, but the names i have listened to and the
composers who i have some great respect for which gave me inspiration to
compose tunes in the first place must go to :)

xtd, audiomonster, issac/contraz, dreamer, michael/anathema, jester, moby,
    pow, darkus, liszt/gods, and pink/abyss.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • haha... no! just for the amiga scene

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Metallica, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Iron Maiden, ACDC and far too many to
    list.. hehe :)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Well, i had no part of the C64 scene, i still hear that it's still alive in
eastern europe.. but i'm glad the amiga came along to give something to those
who wanted more than a basic games machine..

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, been active since my scene life started in 1991, 10 YEARS OF SCENE, and
still active with organising Void group and mailtrading and the odd music, but
very rare nowadays. Also swapping for Amiga legends, GODS... For sure i won't
be quiting the amiga scene yet! it's still alive and as friendly...

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I would just like to thank AMP for giving me the chance to view my words on
here, also to all past and present Amiga swappers and groups which still
believe in scene friendship. Greets to all my present friends, but big smiles
must go to all in Void :- (gone, malmis, skinner,dr.hirudo and all past friends)
and also to all those who are in GODS (chris, zerox, punisher, liszt, brideclaw,
typhoon & the rest of Da' Gods family)...

On the off-chance anyone want's to swap, then write to the address above!

Best wishes and Friendship Never Dies .....
